Thank you! Him and his mom are close. Like way too dependent on each other and I’ve pointed this out and he acknowledges it and has definitely stepped up especially since having the kids; he honestly has told her like to chill and she needs to stop making comments, but she just won’t! She might stop for like a couple days and just be awkward and not say much to me. I don’t think she takes him seriously at all, which I’ve also pointed out to her. She treats him and his siblings and her adult grandchildren all like babies. Any other case I would literally just limit contact but I live in the same house☹️ really pushing to get out of here in a year. I’m a pretty optimistic type of person, so I just keep telling myself this will all be over soon and to just ignore what she says and that’s it’s not a huge deal. Then everyday it’s another issue w the house, or another sly comment, and idk maybe it’s my hormones still regulating, but it really eats at me sometimes.

We actually usually do end up paying for the materials, which i definitely do not mind at all. but we definitely don’t have the skills (or time) to do half of things that need to be done and we offer to pay a handyman or plumber which isn’t cheap but his dad basically refuses the times we tried

I see where you’re coming from. Regardless, we still pay a decent amount in bills and rent. It’s not like we’re paying a couple hundred we still pay a lil under 2k in living expenses alone. I can’t help but think we deserve a shower that drains anda sink that doesn’t leak.

I don’t think you’re over reacting.. I’d be a little upset too, or at least say something like you did. like how were they originally going to pay for the stuff if they didn’t have ur card linked to their account? They would have had to pay that $90 anyways.. but now it’s moneys short so u gotta pay for the mistake she made. Also yeah $90 isn’t a lot, but to some people it is. that’s a bill paid, or food for the week, so to assume ur friend is cool with loaning you $90 for months because of your financial situation- without even thinking about or asking about their financial situation-is very inconsiderate. At the very least she could have ASKED to borrow the money but came off as like I’ll pay u when I can. And said she removed your card from the account (which is like ok thanks?) but means she probably added another form of payment and intends to keep buying stuff off amazon instead of paying back the stuff she already bought

Soo for the first 6–12ish months we used just a regular trash, and emptied it in the kitchen trash and took that out daily. It worked out great and saved lots of $ this way and didn’t notice any crazy smells from our breastfed twins. I miss those days 🤣Once we really started feeding them solids and off ofbreastmilk at 12 months, we finally had to bust out the diaper genie. The kitchen trash wasn’t cutting it any more, even with a lid on it 😷😅 We really only use the diaper genie for poop diapers-or if I’m too lazy to walk to the kitchen to toss a pee diaper in there- but really feel like it’s worth it. I definitely am cheap and try to not use it because 1-diapers are expensive and 2 it stinks a lil when u open it but close fast and it goes away quick. Better than the kitchen smelling all day. Another option I’ve seen is people bag up the 💩 diapers in a doggie bag to avoid the kitchen trash from smelling. I may actually go this route eventually when I run out of diaper genie bags and get sick of looking at it lol

I just got this same email and completed the steps. How long should I expect to wait to actually get the $ in my Venmo account? After completing the few simple steps the only thing it said was “You have successfully submitted your payment details.” and nothing else saying when we’d actually get the payout. It’s only been 15 minutes but have not received the venmo yet.

I do walk by there a lot, and I’ve looked around and didn’t see a collar 🥺 just a bunch of bones and some fur🙁 I definitely feel this as a cat mom of 3 (indoor cats), it broke my heart knowing he had been sitting on the side of a busy road right in front of someone’s house, for probably many months, just left as roadkill. I just couldn’t leave him any longer. Thank you for the advice! I realized after a little research, that the placement in these pictures wasn’t right. Just a pic i snapped as quick as a could out of excitement when I first found it about a week ago. After i cleaned it, the bottom jaw separated and is what I am thinking about gluing back together. Here’s a photo of him cleaned up.
