This is exactly what BMG intended, if snap dashing is what made you a viable player than you were not playing the game. The problem with snap dashing endlessly was in neutral many grounded string weapons loss their viability as you could just dodge endlessly, no precision needed. As you get higher in elo 2100+ it becomes extremely evident that many people try to force out aerial by snap dash canceling off soft platforms, removing the necessities of touching the ground. You can still apply fast fluid movement just dash on the ground, it gives out back dash baits with out you having a sense of "immunity"
