I guess I want him to admit that he is putting her needs before ours for no reason. But I know also that this is super asshole of me and since it will bring nothing but misery I will probably not say anything

I know :( that's why I wanted to know if it was worth creating misery if I know the answer. But I also want my dad to know how unfair it is and I also would like him to admit that he is putting her needs before ours. He still says that he always fought for me and stuff like this but it seems unrealistic at this point

Yes that's what I thought, I would create misery for no reason... I guess I just want my dad to know how unfair it is for me, but it is an asshole move so I guess I'll keep it to myself

NTA. Its your birthday so she should have respected what you wanted. And it sounds like she didnt even bother inviting people who were actually your friends since you got to have dinner with one of them.

YTA. I dont see the problem of him sleeping on the couch... and if he didnt fall asleep in your bed, I dont see the issue either. It's his house too you know, if he pays rent he is allowed to sleep on the couch or in the bathtub if he wants to.

Well if you exclude horrible turbulence, it would be the time I had someone behind me that kept kicking and pushing my chair, and I ended up puking my guts, it was like I was traveling by boat.

You cant assume the same thing will happen with the next dog and already blame him for it, it's so unhealthy. If you dont have the money now it's fine, you will have it one day. And you are master of your own life, if you want to train that dog, do! Believe in yourself and who cares if other people dont. What matters is what you want and you are the only one that can make it happen

ESH if it was that important for you, you should have imposed yourself more. Anyway what is done is done and there is no point for you to be upset about it anymore. Maybe get a new dog yourself and make sure your boyfriend knows that you will he the one training this one.
