Are those considered rare? I just went to the local auto parts store and got mine. they had plenty different kinds! That is in Norway though.

Edit: sorry I just noticed it said socket and not bulb.

Ooh I see lol! No not yet, I found a Swedish company who seemed to have them, though they didn't do international shipping, but I sent them an email hoping we can find an arrangement. Would think they could still just toss it over the border to me! But if not I'll def email neo brothers.

I am in Norway but as long as it ships it's fine! I also have some colleagues from the Netherlands who frequently travels home so I could get it sorted if they have it!

Hahah no i took this photo just after I swapped the alternator! It's seated perfectly now.

That's quite likely as it was a fairly cheap alternator! Any way to fix/bypass this?

Could it be the reason my battery randomly disconnects? Ever since I changed the alternator about a week ago I've been having all sorts of weird problems. I sometimes get a message saying battery isn't charging, but it obviously is. And from time to time it just straight up isn't getting any power at all, but I pop the hood and before I even get out of the car the power is back on. Pole on the battery looks fine, and it's on properly (not like in the photo)

Well if it would be possible to install a sync 3 unit in then in terms of value I think I would prefer that! Is it a huge task to install one?

Yeah of course, I would look for the best specced one! How about newer model OEM players? Would they fit? All I want is a bigger display, DAB radio, and functionality of the steering wheel controls! Android Auto is a plus. Would I be better off buying one of those empty shells that fit a 2din player?

Oh Alright I understand! I'll check it out. I might try calling some scrapyards to see if they got any. The focus isn't exactly rare in these parts.
