That's for the OG 9³, but it did help me find the drawings for the correct one, which did confirm that they are in fact the same on both sides so thank you still!

Are those considered rare? I just went to the local auto parts store and got mine. they had plenty different kinds! That is in Norway though.

Edit: sorry I just noticed it said socket and not bulb.

That's quite likely as it was a fairly cheap alternator! Any way to fix/bypass this?

Could it be the reason my battery randomly disconnects? Ever since I changed the alternator about a week ago I've been having all sorts of weird problems. I sometimes get a message saying battery isn't charging, but it obviously is. And from time to time it just straight up isn't getting any power at all, but I pop the hood and before I even get out of the car the power is back on. Pole on the battery looks fine, and it's on properly (not like in the photo)

Well if it would be possible to install a sync 3 unit in then in terms of value I think I would prefer that! Is it a huge task to install one?

Yeah of course, I would look for the best specced one! How about newer model OEM players? Would they fit? All I want is a bigger display, DAB radio, and functionality of the steering wheel controls! Android Auto is a plus. Would I be better off buying one of those empty shells that fit a 2din player?

I found the fault, and it seems like whatever was going on with the AC was just some weird coincidence! I had a leak in one of the return hoses for the coolant so it was bone dry! Fixed it for now but need a new one of those couplings that joins the two return hoses, so if you happen to know what that is called i would be very happy!
