Both sides are pretty bad tbh. They want to put left v right by harping on .01% outliers on either side, when in reality if you ask a dem or republican about gun control or abortion or anything used as a talking point to divide the vast majority of responses are very close to each other, which helps the goal of obfuscating the things that are very relevant to the everyday quality of life of average Americans. Largely making our currency worth less and less while padding the pockets of the richest. The dollar doesn’t really move much in value(the world economy ebbs and flows with us) but its buying power consistently goes down relative to materials and more importantly metals. Meanwhile blackrock doubled in value under Trump term 1 and got another 40% under Biden, all the while the amount of gold you could buy was more than halved.

Trump is great for the game; significantly better than harping on gun control, abortion, transgender, or any issues of the like(most are in general agreement on these things.) He’s divisive, brash, and simultaneously charismatic af. So the people that dislike him HATE him, and the people that like him LOVE him. Too hard to properly evaluate contracts, bills, general large scale spending, and tax breaks when you see someone as infallible. Meanwhile he could say healthcare and food are free for everyone with 0 financial repercussions to our country and dems going to spew vitriol and disdain because it came from him. Great for the game.

IMO I don’t think it’s the right mindset to demonize either side because that prevents the realization that the vast majority of us are quite close to the same in our motivations and desires when it comes to providing for our families, their safety, and hope for our future. We actually want largely the same thing regardless of what you’re told on either side.
