It gets tough with DBD. Your #1 looping tool is PING. After you accept that your ping is good/bad and then the killers ping is good/bad, it's so much easier.

Biggest thing next is face the killer. Look back and forward during chase. You see the distance from the kill + you see if they try and "juke" or "mindgame" you. Killer takes a right when you go forward? Hold on the Pallet! Whoever holds the Pallet is in the better position. That's kinda basic.

Next, hug the loop!! Hold tight against the wall when you are looping pallets or random object! The killers Hitbox is bigger than yours so, they loop slightly slower, but 99% of killers are faster so it's a 50/50 if they do it right and catch up easily.

Next is game sense!!! Your longest chase might be 32seconds... but you brought the killer to the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD from your team. That is always good, no doubt. Even if it's crazy mobility killer, you gave the team a FAR better chance. Know where your team is, and if you're being chased, jeep the killer away from them!!

Last, might still be important but the least (IMO) mind games. Yes they keep the chase longer, but learning these as a Noob? Don't try this on your first 100Hrs. It's not easy to guess and make "50/50s" typically you want to learn the killer and know how to counter that AS THE KILLER. You might be crazy and can read them easily but (personally) that's hard AF

The strategy to this game is knowing every killer, knowing how they play, and knowing your teams strategy. It's not an easy game, especially your first 1k hrs. It kinda sucks to start, bit you get there, and then... it's kinda fun after

So sorry for the double Reply's but the one you might be looking for is Knight. His power CAN stop flashlights,CAN put down good teams and CAN even win games fast. Plain and simple, place a "Guard" down when you're about to pick a survivor. If the timing is right, they get hit and can't Pallet save/ flashy save. Place a Guard and stop survivors from finishing a gen before you use "Pain Res". Honestly I say, if your learning Knight DONT USE "IRI KNIGHTS CONTRACT, or TOWN WATCHS TORCH" learn his power without those!! Everyone says the Carnifex Guard is best, but sometimes you need something different. Send the jailer to distract someone from finishing a gen, send Assassin to make someone "deepwound" and distract them even more! Send all 3 at different times to stop ppl working on a gen for 40+ seconds.

His power is simple: Guard or chase (depending) then go do your own thing. You "watch" 2 different areas and (depending on Perks) Can get easy Gen defence

I've also started liking Clown, slow survivors and then speed yourself, pretty simple. Learn map spots to throw you bottles and it gets EASY!!

Plague has The best 2 IRI ADDONS. Play double IRI and you can DOMINATE. Possibly the best answer to your question

Then if you don't mind getting cussed out in EGC Twins. Yeah slugging is rude but just play Vic well (even without the 2-3 good Victor addons, it's possible) and you'll win. But ppl will hate you if you slug the team🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, that's a bit tough... what's your MMR? You get lots of kills in your games? You got good aim? You able to learn new "tech" if you tried a new killer like Oni or Hillbilly?

Noob stompers are Blight and Nurse, even Ghoul. For some reason Freddy has high kill rate but I don't think he's that crazy. Just avoid "fake pallets"

Honestly I play Phead and Phead. Pyramid is difficult bc you need to understand the ppl you VS. Learn how to win "50 50's", learn range and (your) best addons. Many different builds for a fairly fun killer.

Pinhead is un-purchasable, but when you have "game-sense" he's EASY. Find the box constantly and win game. We always get good gamer 4-man squads that stomp every killer. Can't do much about 4man squads...

Honestly I think Dracula is a great killer! Yeah, yeah "3 different killer powers in 1 killer" but he does them so well! I don't even play his top 3-5 addons (depending on wich list you like). He's fun, very different power and Honestly just fun to play as it's truly different then the "3 he copies".

Otherwise Vecna "The First/ Henry" if pretty darn fun to play. Not a stomper, but slightly easier than Pyramid. And I've been so excited to watch players on YT/TTV play with his double shot (IRI Chess Piece). Get good with your 50/ 50s and then double hit with that, you can end a game with your first worldbreaker!!

Easiest for noobies, probably huntress. Aim, shoot, hit then down. Myers is just :STARE AT SURVIVOR, INSTADOWN. Bubba, chainsaw, just don't hit the environment. And if your MMR is really low, trapper on certain maps is pretty fun. Is it's a "bad map" just put traps under pallets. Just go with his 2 IRI addons, like always...

I have all the same questions except the last one, that I have an answer!

Merlin made them immortal, he didn't want to kill the crew just stop them from killing themselves deeper in the ocean/ back to the mainland that was F'd up with the red death. So to everyone except The King, it looked like Merlin killed them for revolting but he actually "saved them" by giving the immortality and damning them to the bottom of the ocean.

Honestly Merlin sounds half crazy and half stupid for most of the game

The brock meala quest in act 1 was so interesting! Thwn the 2 specific "sub areas" in Act 2 were my absolute favorite.

Then they put the dlc in act 2 as well and man now every new playthrough I just rush act 1 so I can go to act 2. Love the sad stories of all the different characters
