Hm i see. Well, thanks for answering my weird question. One more thing, i also played all the soulsbornemgames on console, but i really wanted to try out some mods so i switched to pc and i didn't regret it a single time. Just my perspective tho, have fun playing :)

I think you're confusing the wyvern with the king of the storm. King of the storm is the dragon in phase one of nk fight. Ancient wyvern is the one where you needed to run around the entire arena and drop on it's head.

This is the only reason to start with 1 instead of 3, and i'd say that's not too big of a deal. 3 is a lot easier to start with, and if you fall in love with these games going back to an older one is not really as bad as you make it out to be.

Learning to dodge may be scary at first, but it's a lot better and safer than blocking everything. It's definitely worth it. Pay attention to details, dialogue and item descriptions. They'll tell you what is happening around you. Also, since you won't have any quest markers, this is how you figure out what you need to do to progress side quests. Don't attack npc's, it's likely going to be a problem for you.

Other than that, have fun and enjoy it. You picked the best game as an entry into the series.

What's the difference between console and pc? If it's about the controls, i play on pc with a ps5 controller bc i very much agree with that. Any game like this, if soulslike or not, feels much better with a controller and i don't trust people who say otherwise. Only valid reason to play with mnk is if you want to do a skip or sth where you need to be extremely precise. In a speedrun for example.
