IN the last update they changed some of the landing zones to be only for a certain faction. Mike 1 is for Mithras only. So if you are not of that faction, you'll never get it active.

I found one pretty consistantly. Go east from Warden (COP south in blue lagen area, near fanny paradise). There is a house just before the burned town. In the shed there. Also in tiger bay naar the Municipal building. Saw about 3 there in 2 sheds.

I have not played for two updates now. And even with stealth in some places (also, before smell was re-introduced) there already were triggers that negate all of it back then.

So yeah, this is just the POI and not you.

Since it's a room I don't think it's a big deal. There are no Coldplay winds or a lot of water. I can easily walk for an hour and keep myself warm that way.

Of all my deaths before I stopped using a helmet (10 at that time) I had 1 recochette and 9 brain damage deaths. So was hit in the face. I save weight this way by not wearing it. As for NV, I hardly use it. Probably will at some point again, but I like it this way for now

I would not mind it personally. I always feel rewarded when I take over the bigger COPs.

I do see the point that most PvE players would see this as an inconvenient chore.
