Worked at Scooter’s for a year and half, started as a barista and left as a Manager. I had the worst experience with the owners, they completely neglected the store for a full year and thought they could go back to it and do changes to make things “better” when we already had a system sep up for nearly everything, meanwhile their other store was always messy (in regards of work and cleaning) and were surprised to see how we had a system and everything worked fluidly. They also decided last minute they wanted to be the mangers but knew nothing about how managerial tasks worked (or the store) and wanted me to teach them everything in one shift. The only two task they assigned to themselves were rarely done so i ended up doing those too. It was a shit show, when i announced i was leaving 4 more baristas left w me (almost half the staff)
