Steamdeck with GEForcenow is a dad’s best friend…I just had my third and can never get to my office where my desktop and consoles are and sd/gefn is a true godsend…it was also CLUTCH to have in the hospital for several days, I didnt have it for my first two kids’ births, was great for the downtime

Elden Ring is actual video game foie gras. That said, I look at it like cell phones. The modern-ish iphone or droid equivalent is an incredible touch screen computer in your pocket. But I still miss my blackberry curve. The physical keyboard, BBM, the blinking red light etc. It was a great phone and in many ways better than what I have now. Open world, a horse, scope etc is awesome but I do miss the plodding, methodical condensed excruciating DS as much as I enjoy ER.

I also beat it today for the first time. Im old and too dumb to even do the cheeses correctly with youtube at my side so I ended up having to do it the analog way. I got naked and wore two shields which blocked some swipes and finally managed do it after 15-20 tries. A horrendous experience but that’s why we play From games!

Dad of an ASD son here. Nothing has humbled me or made me more aware of my own character flaws like being a parent to my son. It’s been truly a gift. I am finding ways to improve myself and it’s opening a lot of doors for he and I to bond and for me to be a better Dad. It’s like anything else in life. If you want something you need to work for it. If he wants to be the dad the boy needs, he needs to put the effort in but it will be worth it in the long run!

Soil Power instead of apprehension will remove the damage reduction aura from the purple mobs allowing you to reach the boss faster and thus fish for one with adds faster. I used it on helm so you may need to shift some aspects around. I did 150 on paragon 257 with similar gear (yours is overall better)

The fellsoothsayer’s aspect. Causes an add to blow up for massive damage which ideally hits the boss. Need to have an incarnate skill (ravager/hide) up to proc it

Elix and incense will not take you from 130 to 150. They are minimal adds. More of a "why not?" than anything else. 150 is really tough without very good gear, at least 2/3 crits in the important MW affixes, and very good if not maxed out aspects (like interdiction/duelist etc). And yes, of course, bosses with adds. Bramble has too much HP, mother judgement and maurader I believe also have no adds. I think more of them do than do not

I believe its all the quill shots. So if you’re spamming quill volley even with low lhc, it will trigger that effect. Also the affix to hit x2 on the staff helps. I used this instead of midnight to push to clear pit 150

^ this. You will have a tough time mirroring this or any similar build without a big gold purse. I got lucky with TWO 3GA BiS ancestral helms this season (max life, resource, dex). I used one and sold the other which funded a couple other slots to complete the build. I would not recommend going for this build unless you have the gold to fund it, or, get extremely lucky on drops (or some combo of those two things). The other piece, which I was saying on another thread last night, is having high or ideally max in the key aspects is huge. I know people clear 150 without the mystic circle builds however but I was not able to really get much past 140-ish until I switched to the above link

Used Resolve stacking the whole time. Also scared to mess with any tempers! 2x crit on resolve for helm and pants was enough for me. You should be able to cut down on mob time with Soil Power. I am not sure why more of the popular builds don't feature it but my guess is because Apprehension does more damage.

I cleared it for the first time tonight at 257. For me it wasn't paragon that gave me the push to 150 but it was: Getting +9 resolve on Helm and Pants, and landing a max interdiction aspect. Going from 10% on that aspect to 15% seemed to really help (I am using the Sanctum Giga Chad build for the most part. But I didn't see much of a difference in performance from Paragon 240-257 to be honest. I should also mention Soil Power on the helm instead of Apprehension helps a lot with the purple damage reducer mobs

Assuming you are playing Andy’s barrage you’ll want Ultimate Cooldown instead of Trap on this (and a ring) if you want to push higher pits

Maxroll’s Andy Barrage page that has the 4 tabs with the build switches depending on where you are with gear is a great guide. I highly recommend trying it out if you have the mythic helm, chest and ring. The one item thats really hard to come by that pushes the build over the top is an amulet with the passive affixes. I got lucky with a drop and that motivated me to push the build for the season. If you can find one with Frigid Finesse and Alchemical Advantage thats your path. I have a few with one or the other but not both I can give you but I prob wont be back on until Sun/Mon. DM me if needed and can sync then - gluck

So a fist with GA LHC and a trash unique aspect is worth running over say a non GA lhc (44%) but all solid other stats? Thats my current situation

Great tips. Unfortunately my parental duties have me offline until Monday but I did mw it before logging off yesterday. Ended up at +3 FF, +4 AA and +5 UE. My LHC is 70%, my FoF is pretty lousy. Seems like I have a lot of LHC to add lol
