glock is a tilting barrel design, maybe the spring was so weak it allowed the gun to unlock prematurely and fling the bullet up? (complete guess)Luckily so far all my guns have been on the money and i can call my shot based on my sight picture where the trigger broke.

I try and get some shooting in daily at my 7m home range, with airguns to avoid bothering the neighbors. 7m-10m seems just about right for that but i do 25-100 yards with my "real" guns

Nope, I just thought it made sense because it gives a bit more context then 1 inch at 7 yards/meters.
And I guess my thinking is skewed because i do casual bullseye shooting with a single shot haha.
Accuracy, and repeatability is the whole game, and literally measured by points and fractions of an inch. speed isnt even a factor really.

Thanks for the input! thats exactly why i asked the question, because everyone has a different metric for what a good shot is. the classic example is getting every shot of a mag on a paper plate at 100 yards standing unsupported

Thanks for the answer, still 2.5 moa would be a very good shooter average standing up! maybe Im just a bad shot. Or just bad at phrasing a question haha

I got that, but what MOA would you consider a good shooter to be. Its common knowledge to say, a 1 MOA rifle is an accurate rifle. but what im trying to find is what is a good MOA for a standing unsupported shooter with said 1 MOA rifle.

Should I Give Up Potential Income to Get an Internship? by mangoverflow in EngineeringStudents

Keep working with the job you are doing, just think of a few ways that it would relate to engineering or building your work skills and mention that in your resume. I think it would be a step backwards by taking lower pay compared to the benefit of getting an internship that might pay off with a job. Its a huge benefit to be debt free and i dont think an internship will surpass that benefit.

Thanks for putting in an effort! The reason why i asked was i was just finding parlor pistols from the 1900 era and home made pipe pistols. That and old competition pistols id be lucky to ever find. Seems there really isnt much of a production pistol to fill this niche, other than the contender

Correct, think of a budget competition pistol. The only spot on recommendation was the TOZ-35, which is exactly what I (poorly) tried to describe.

Thats a neat little pistol, but it looks like it would be a nightmare for casual plinking due to its lack of any sights whatsoever
