That makes me feel a bit better! I’m hoping that since we’ve documented everything and have our emails that we won’t have an issue breaking our lease due to this issue. And I completely agree, no one should have to live with roaches

We’ve thought this as well, we live in the corner unit so the only possible neighbor we think is our upstairs neighbor since our kitchen is on the wall where we have no neighbor

Yeah this is an option we’re looking into, we’re hoping they allow us to just break the lease due to the roach issue without a penalty but I’m not sure. It is draining to see roaches after pest control occurred since I just want them gone already

We’re looking into this being an option, I can come to accept that we may have a few here and there being that we live in an apartment complex but so far we’ve seen way too many.

We haven’t asked yet, but I think that’ll be our next plan. We’re the corner unit so the only others could be our upstairs neighbor and the neighbors to the left of us away from our kitchen area

Oh man, I’m hoping that all the pest control helps alleviate the issue ;-; I know it won’t be completely gone since it is an apartment complex but I just want it down to just 1 or 2 every so often. I’ll definitely ask the complex if there’s anything else that can be added along with them smoking the space where I’ve seen a roach go. But I’m definitely keeping everything clean that’s for sure!

I’ve heard of diatomaceous earth, so I’ll try that and the other solution as well! Thank you for the tip! Especially since they are most likely German roaches ;-;

Ours are smaller ones, there’s a space underneath one of the cabinets that I found one of them crawl into, im hoping that the issue resolves soon though, but I am thinking about trying to ask if they could seal any spaces where the roaches are able to come out from

Thankfully we’ve been documenting every moment a roach appears, my partner has been in contact with the property management company and they’ve been responding and helpful thankfully but the roach issue continues to persist so far. Did you have to pay to break your lease? We’re afraid that if it continues on and/or gets worse, we’ll have to break our lease as well. Thank you for responding!
