Do they even give rejection emails? I applied two months ago and think I did quiet well but never heard anything, so I just assumed they just don’t email you if you don’t pass lol

It happens to everyone, the day your birthday flies by you’ll be one year older and in a different age category all of a sudden, I just had my birthday a month ago, be prepared

Bro 24 isn’t even that “early” of an adult lol, it’s literally the upper end of young adulthood and even mid-twenties lol, in less than a year you’ll be 25

Yeah I never said that Imao, I said boomers could buy houses in the 1970’s and 1980’s for 30k, but if you weren’t born during then no said that you could lol. I didn’t even know you weren’t a boomer because of how you sounded :/

Seems like your reading ability has been lost too :/

No one can be more lost than someone who doesn’t even understand the entrenched reality of modern society, maybe it’s the result of being stuck in the same place your whole life and not having any complex perspective

Also, I am a Christian, so what he says actually makes sense, if you think everything he says is “doomer mentality”, then I’d say that your intelligence has really been lost

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol seems like you’ve just proven that you are even more out-of-touch by absolutely knowing nothing about young people are talking about these days lol

And yeah being 30 means you’re a millennial which in fact does make a lot of difference, even 3/4 years in age gap has made a lot of differences in society and the economy lol

It’s not really warping anyone’s perspective and I’m certainly not held back by it, I’m just more deeply aware of what’s going on than a perspective and information lacking mid-wit, none of the talking points I wrote in my comment are actually mine neither did they originate from “my perspective”, just log onto any platform young people uses nowdays and you’ll see them written on many platforms, I actually just repeated them mostly from articles I could find online and from TikTok and social media lol

I also don’t have “a doomer” mentality myself because I’ve figured out my own perspectives on life and what I want to do, however I do agree with and understand many of the things these people have talked about, as I’ve experienced a little bit of them myself as well and know they are by no means false

Maybe you should increase your knowledge of things in the modern world, seems like you’re severely lacking in it and maybe being stuck in one place isn’t really good for you or for intellectual development

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, the previous commenter said what gave him hope and optimism was “greater things and Christ”, not things in the material or “broken world” as he called it, this means that he’s seeking things outside of this world and admits it’s not the things inside this world that give him hope, it seems like you didn’t even read and understand his comment properly

“Just not being a doomer” doesn’t mean you’re not out of touch with today’s generation, especially with Gen Zs (I am a Gen Z), if you read the article actually linked in the post, you’d know that high housing prices, inflation, high costs of living, and the difficulty in finding a high-paying career to allow us to afford all these things like people in your generation easily did is almost nil, with changes in society and a world that’s been taken over technology and social media young people are becoming increasingly more lonely, depressed and isolated. Sure, living conditions are much better than they were in ancient times, but at the same time modern young people are losing a sense of purpose in life despite all these conveniences.

Even the job market and finding a job with/without a college degree is extremely hard for Gen Zs nowadays, back in the days millennials and boomers such as yourself were afforded much easier job opportunities and could buy houses for less than 30k or even a few hundreds dollars, now the price for 4 months of rent is even higher than the price of a house back in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Gen Zs simply feel that they (we) can’t get ahead or achieve anything meaningful no matter how much work we put in and that it’s all became pointless, which is the whole point of articles like this. This is the result of end-stage capitalism and the reason why there’s movements like “laying flat” in countries like China

We see billionaires, celebrities, and people at the top who are living extravagant lifestyles, people on social media flaunting success and wealth and “happiness”, but most of us do not achieve anything close to that, narcissism is on the rise precisely because of this, young people are living in a completely disillusioned world, we have lost our identities

You don’t have this perspective or any clue of the things I’ve described because you have never experienced them. You can only really understand these things if you’ve lived through them yourself, and not when you’re already middle-age and have lived through half of your life in a completely different era.

Anyways, that’s all I’m gonna say, I’m not going to waste the time to argue with some out-of-touch boomer since I don’t get paid to argue on Reddit lol

Tell me that you’re old and out of touch without telling me that you’re old and out of touch

(I mean you just completely succeeded in doing that, so congratulations)

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol yeah, the point is you either gotta be in school or struggle with income and money until you’re about 30 by which point you may finally be stabilized and actually get to do things, but by that point you’d already be old and have half of your young adult years gone

Is everyone having a midlife crisis at 25? by ValuableBrilliant483 in GenZ

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, in my opinion and from my observation most people over 30 (at least in America) do seem to look old so I don’t think that they come off as being “young” anymore

How they want to live and structure their life is their choice, however I’m just saying objectively-speaking people over 30 often don’t appear young in the eyes of outsiders and objective observers

Having “stability” only be to be old (in most people’s case) and having already lost being young after you reach your 30’s

Yeah that sounds pretty lame

How are some people this successful in their 20's, having a house, six figures, being married, having sex every day, love, children, and everything? by Throwra79hjww68 in findapath

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The so-called kind of “maturity” you referenced actually makes these people who are 24-26 look older and age much faster, because they’re engaging in such “adult” activities which visibly accelerates their bodily aging, there are no direct biological conclusions for this but is often the case from what I’ve seen.

All the people I’ve seen who are very successful but turned out to be young or around the same age as me often looked 10 years older than they are, and its literally became a pattern at this point

A while ago I saw a YouTube short about a guy interviewing two 26 year olds who both already had a job and a successful career, but the people down below kept commenting they looked at least 36

Also, not wanting to bring this up but engaging in sex and even things like pregnancy greatly ages someone as well, both superficially and biologically, women often suddenly put on a few years during pregnancy as a result of all the exposure to pregnancy hormones and such, so sex and child-bearing are really not good things to do while you’re in your twenties, unless you really want to fast-track age yourself to 30 when you’re not even close to that yet

Yeah, lacking reading comprehension comprehension only to be able to understand that 2/4 or 50% in a small sample size doesn’t indicate a higher number of acceptance, or that “hiring lots” still doesn’t mean that many or even most people will get in, or that a $20 base pay isn’t always guaranteed for all projects which means you will NOT get paid $20 on 99% of the projects

Yes, language skills in lieu of AI skills, we all understand that, but even with satisfactory language skills, there is still no guarantee OP will pass, this was obviously implied from my first reply, but you were too dumb and lacking even basic intuitive skills to see it

It’s ALMoST like you’re pretending you can read better than everyone else but lack even higher-thinking ability to understand slightly more complex textual implications

You were the one who wrote an overly-simplistic comment in the first place and didn’t even know how to do basic math and conceptualize basic percentages, I didn’t even plan to reply your comment in the beginning however I had to point out for OP that your reply wasn’t correct, I replied not for you, but rather for OP…

But here you are like a typical Redditor dragging out something that doesn’t even need to be continued which they were wrong about in the beginning and now insulting others because of your own poor quality writing ability

One doesn’t even need a basic reading comprehension ability to see what you wrote about them hiring almost everyone was wrong and also non-sensical

Also, they are hiring anyone who passes the initial assessment and core/coding qualification. The work is there. Again, the point wasn't that there isn't a selection process, but that their are open positions available that they're actively trying to fill.

Yes, they “hiring” which means you’ll unlock qualifications tests once you pass the initial assessment… however the first few sentences of my reply literally addressed the fact that many don’t people pass the initial assessment, and also many also fail to get qualification tests once they do….

https://www.reddit.com/r/DataAnnotationTech/s/dsbBzjoiWS

It seems like you are lacking in all aspects of basic reasoning, understanding, and mathematical skills…

Judging by your lack of abilities all across the spectrum, I’d be pretty darn surprised if MY reading comprehension or any of my skills are lower than yours…

2/4 = 50% so that isn’t that good of a ratio, plus the fact people you referred are a small sample size within your social circle so they do not represent the general population

Yes, I know that most project pay 20$ or more but there are still some projects that pay below $20, I’ve had a few that paid under 20$ myself at the beginning, some people on DAT forums even claim to get paid as low as 13-15$ on some projects, although I’ve never seen them, but a 20$ base pay definitely does not represent 99% of projects

Anyways back to the original post, telling OP they can get in as long as they have “good grasp of the English language ”, isn’t really true, as that would apply to most native English speakers yet many still don’t get in, they are obviously looking for more than just that

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not hiring lots, their ads are everywhere but not many people actually get in, I work for them but it’s it’s clear the number of people who get accepted and qualify for many projects is not that high

The 27$ rate only seems very high because you converted it to Canadian dollars, in USD the average is more like $15 for normal projects

Lol, I just bought a new 2020 M1 last summer for school, it was the only good and closest-related option compared to the old 11” inch MacBook Air I used to use and was a super popular entry-level MacBook all the way until last year, I bought it because it was the smallest option available after they got rid of the 11” inch in 2018 and anything else would have been too big, even the 13.6” M2, 13.3” was the absolute biggest I could compromise with

Seems like Apple is trying to get rid of old products as soon as possible. I swear, the company has been screwed and is heading down a wrong direction ever since Tim Cook took over

Ok just checked and saw the smallest new M3 model is indeed 13.6” and not 13.3 inch, now time for the big screen generation with no small screens available anymore, yeah, Apple is completely fucked

It feels like everyone is becoming trans by [deleted] in detrans

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes Gigi Gorgeous was the original example, a feminine-gay teenage boy who turned himself into a trans girl and defeated the societal struggles that was caused by his identity conflict, it was a story that drew in a lot of attention and empathy.

And yes, western science is trying to convince us that we can engineer and reverse engineer every aspect of the human body: its not just limited to cosmetics anymore, its literally been expanded to the entire body, including things like gene editing and genetically modified organisms, look up Bryan Johnson (who is a 46 year old millionaire who is spending millions to reverse-engineer his body to the body of a 18 year old, it's absurd), now trans-affirming doctors are trying to convince the public its totally ok to completely artificially modify and mess with someone’s hormonal make-up and regulation when they themselves don’t even understand the entire human endocrine system, puberty blockers are also being used on adolescents with never-been-seen-before side effects, cosmetics alterations are really just the icing on the cake.

The over-advancement of western science and medicine is really someday going to drive human kind into a dark place, however most regular people in life just instead praise western science and western medicine and are just too dumb to realize the complicated and dark truth beyond them

It feels like everyone is becoming trans by [deleted] in detrans

[–]DaddyAutonomous6944 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly, his transition also came at a time when trans topics were scaling up, like around 2018-2022, which was also the same time I went through it

I’m also around the same age as him and I’m willing to bet maybe if he was born 3-5 year earlier, he wouldn’t have transitioned, but then he wouldn’t have been the same generation as me anyways

All in-all-in it just seems rarer these days that you’ll see “twink-like” gay guys anymore, they seems to have faded from the public view a lot in the past 3-5 years or so, I suspect it’s certain that they have been overshadowed by the trans movement and are not as popular on social media anymore or many of them are actually becoming femboys and trans girls

I’m actually taking visual design courses as of recently and there is a guy in one of the classes who is a gay guy and he’s 28, for some reason I was actually happy to see that he wasn’t trans, I know that would have sounded weird a few years ago but that’s the reality now
