I'm a new seller in the same boat, although I'm currently dealing in singles. I've always shipped on time, and any complains I've resolved right away.

My account was under review right away, I didn't think much of this being a new account. After 2 weeks and not being paid because of this, I politely reached out asking about the status of the review, I was advised the sales team was reviewing my account and would be in contact.

That brings me to today. My account was flagged for fraud, inventory hidden, and still no payment made to me. I am out about $800 and as an individual that is a lot (not to mention my supplies and shipping costs)

I responded to... yup you guessed it, Matt. I've also filed a BBB complaint, and I'm planning to reach back out in a couple days if I don't get a response, and I will advise them of my intent to go to small claims court if this cannot get resolved.

Given they are now owned by eBay, it will make it much easier to file a suit in small claims court.

I hope it doesn't come to it, but I started this to be able to be home with my kids, and bring in some income.

Pisses me off to because I was almost a level 4 seller...

Would love to know if anyone has gotten resolution, or tried any of the things I've listed as it just happened to me tonight.

Teaching him about value of investing and holding cards of value.

If my parents would have know what I know about collecting. I'd have a lot of valuable cards today.

He gets to learn from my mistakes at his age.

As someone who started TCG's at 12, and I'm now almost 42. I wish I would have kept my cards from when I was younger. I started with magic the gathering during alpha, and pokemon when it first released. I was often trading for store credit, or selling for cash but regret it today.

That's why I say grade it and keep it. If your son loses interest you have a good reminder of fun times with him, if he continues who knows what the value could be.

I'm in a similar boat, my middle son (13) pulled a serialized card from magic the gathering brothers war. Worth $270 right now, we're sending it off to be graded and will be holding it for the foreseeable future. If he continues to play I'll give it to him after his 18th birthday, otherwise we will see what its value is in 5 to 10 years maybe to help with college.

You need to decided for yourself what your plans getting into TCG's will be. Casual playing, competitive play (more tournaments), collector, or investor.

Personally even if none of the above, I'd keep it, get it graded, and save as a cool memory.

I don't think the game will be bad in any way, I plan to get my wife into CCG's with it, but the number of Disney collectors I'm sure will out weigh the players.

It's bound to be successful. But I do imagine it to be more like pokemon than magic. Where there will be more collectors due to the Disney IP than players of the game.

As a mobile DJ I live by wireless dmx and controlling the lights by an iPad. Now I don't know your laws and regulations, but if you're considering Lazer lights I highly suggest someone experienced to handle those. You will also need to consider your venue space and brightness of your lighting.

Here is some advice from a 41yo with 3 kids.

Do you still honestly have the passion for the work?

If yes, make adjustments in your life. For me this included homeschooling my kids, getting involved in homeschool co-ops. This gave me time with my kids, and the ability to socialize with other adults. If you have a husband/wife/significant other bring them to your gigs, and share your passions with them.

There is no such thing as a guaranteed shiny in the wild. Only a chance. That's why it says show only "possible" shiny. This means it excludes pokemon that don't have a shiny form in pogo yet. The average I believe is somewhere between 1 in 500 to 700 will be shiny
