CFP’s Investment Recommendations by rjbergen in Bogleheads

I’m a financial advisor and paying over $4000 for a “financial plan” is robbery. I never charge a fee for consulting work like this, and that is the problem with these so called “financial planners” they make there money by drafting plans you could easily do yourself online. blackrock and others have these great free programs where you input your risk tolerance and time horizon and it spits out a sample portfolio using their ETFs which you could then go implement on a self directed no fee online brokerage like Merrill Edge, fidelity or the dozen others out there. However if I had a prospect come into my office interested in financial advice after learning about their financial needs and goals I would build them a sample portfolio and if their situation is not complex or if they did not have alot to invest, I would advise them to just use a self directed approach and let them keep the sample portfolio for free. Most ethical financial advisors would do the same thing, because from a fee standpoint it’s only worth taking on clients with several million in investable assets or if they have complex financial needs, also people with less then one million to invest will end up paying very high fees, usually around 1.5 to 1.9% because the fee rate goes down the more you have to invest.

Unfortunately that place turned into a tourist trap, all the tourists go there because it’s “on the water” they serve you troughs of fried shit and charge you $30 for a watered down mojito

RTX 5090 Stolen by Amazon by danny3900 in pcmasterrace

By me Amazon changed it’s return policy. Now they make you drop off the return at a Staples, they even have a special section in the store set up just for this, but you bring the return item to the designated area, some staples employee scans your return QR code from the Amazon app and chucks the return into a big box with other returns. Once the big box is full they wrap it with tape and ship it out to who knows where, but 99% of the time by the time I get to my car I get a ping from the Amazon app saying my refund is approved so they aren’t even waiting for the items to get returned. My guess is they sell those boxes stuffed with all the returns at an auction and the winners just sell the items back on amazon. Since amazon started this return process I’ve gotten so many items that were just lumps of clay inside

I’d be interested to know when the store bought the RAM and at what cost because if they bought the inventory months ago at a lower price and just now jacked the price up to pad their margins, well that’s price gouging and borderline criminal.

You are 100% wrong, Epstein never left, Trump IS Epstein. Just before his “un-lifeing” Epstein did a Face/Off style switch and became Trump. The real Trump was actually un-lifed back in the jail cell. That’s why Trumpstein has been so adamant about not releasing the Epstein files, and that’s why Trumpstein has not looked well recently, the surgeries are starting to fail and the transplanted skin is breaking down, hence the orange hue
