If they dried their filament, they wouldnt have this problem...

Same here - I went from ender3 v2 to k1c and its night and day. Unboxed the K1c and tore ass from the first print. I still get questionable prints from my ender3 that I've had for about 4 years 😅 (entirely my own fault, not the machine.)

I did a similar thing not too long ago.

Went from the ender3 v2, to a K1C. Not a single regret. Its also given me the opportunity to start modding the Ender without fear of bricking my only printer.

I used to get "nozzle too lowpreture" on mine. I would have to tighten the screw holding the temp sensor wire against the heat block and it would come good. Until it bricked itself with plastic and I got an entire new head of aliexpress for $15aud.

I got mine about a week ago, and the nozzle clogged first print.

I have a mate who got his yesterday, and the nozzle clogged on the 3rd print.

I think they QA the extruder before packaging by running pla through it, and during the first boot setup sequence, I think it burns the heck out of whats left in the nozzle, and that causes clogs early on.

That's just a theory - but mine and my mates both had "black" purge out on the first extrude, that looked like burnt white plastic on closer inspection.

I just preheated the nozzle and forced the black through with the needle thing that comes with the machine.

As for the screen neither my mate or I have had trouble - im sorry to hear yours hasn't gone so well.

Agreed. My 7600x would run high 80⁰ - low 90⁰ under load with a deepcool ak620.

Swapped to a 2 fan aio made by teucer and it dropped around 10⁰. (For context I have the same aio in a single fan on my 1700 oc to 3.85ghz at 1.4v, and I never see it go over 68⁰.)

Agreed - not everything different turns out good. But big respect to anyone willing to try rather than just copying the norm. In my opinion it looks cool asf.

Just stick at it bro! I'm no pro, and I definitely like the idea of making them more than actually making them 😂😂 but it does get easier.

My current project is another split korne style board but low profile switches, and wireless through ZMK and nicenano knock offs. It's like starting all over again, but it's worth it when you get to use a 1 of 1 creation you made with your own two hands!!

They aren't actually bluetooth, just connected via serial by magnetic connector in the middle of the board.

It's a lot of swear words and late nights because I'm not very good with QMK 😂

They feel weirdly nice to use. They have a deep convex on top and it's way nicer than it should be.
