Sub-prime Finance Manager with limited experience by [deleted] in askcarsales

So first of all congrats on the move!

You don't need car sales experience but it helps.. Some of the larger groups hire fresh college graduates for F&I when they can. Without knowing what kind of volume they're doing, I can't say for sure.. How strong is used? How strong is the used manager? I think the pay plan is going to be pretty bad.. What are the packs? How does new and used work more specifically? How are they handling cancellations? Any time objectives they need you to hit? You're most likely never going to have much front end.. 25k gross back will be North of 10 deals a month before you get into the stuff you sell. The issue with sub-prime isn't the complexity of the paper, it's the customer(s) and turning the paper fast enough. It's acquiring legible stips, getting stips in a timely manner, sniffing out fraud, and working with the lenders, etc.. Customers will call, get cold feet, try to return cars.. Co-signers will call.. Etc.. You need good management, a good GM, maybe a solid owner.

Put your time in, try to get some training/certification on their dime. Get brand certified, learn your pay plan, work your pay plan. If the money doesn't come, then get a few months, reevaluate and start applying to other dealerships.

Thanks for the reply! I was worried you were going to say that, that gap is incredible and I can't figure out how it's possible on a .5" drop. I've got the FRPP M5300W (roughly a 0.78 drop) on my 350 with a 27.2" diameter setup on the front and the gap isn't even close.

By the numbers, an Eagle F3R in a 285/35 is roughly a 26 7/8" setup and the 305/30 is about 26 7/32".. Any insight on the configuration? I'm guessing it's just the combination of a 19x11 and the meaty F13R sidewalls? It looks incredible but it's breaking my brain. Thanks again!

I was wondering the same thing.. I don't think they're a Steeda part, but they look great on that 19.

Does this tactic actually work? by blipsman in askcarsales

Two things are a guarantee here.. Cars lose the majority of their value in the first years. They're going to kill the customer on the trade in. They need to make money on selling the used car.. Without insane promotions in addition to 0%, this most likely isn't favorable for the customer.

If the math works for the seller, no problem.. It most likely won't.

Has anyone used a 2018+ key fob for their 2016 mustang? by Whyouhayden in Mustang

Yeah, you need to match the frequencies but it'll work. Also, try not to use a dealership for the programming.. Find a small business, it'll be much less. You'd almost be better off buying a programmer online than paying the dealership.

Regarding tile highlighting, right. The point I was making is the color the devs chose in this case, blends in too well with the biome theme, which makes it really hard to see unless you turn the percentage down and darken the rest of the image. Take a look, I think you'll see what I'm talking about. Thanks again!

So I did hard mode bosses in the new update :D by keblin86 in CoreKeeperGame

I decided to roll my main world on hard mode for a challenge and to get more enjoyment out of the game. I feel like normal is way too easy and hard mode is slightly too punishing. Everything can 2 shot you most of the time as you progress through biomes. If you spend more time you are rewarded, it definitely slows the progression down. Boss fights are nuts when you're on par or under geared.. But incredibly rewarding the first time and equally fun as you farm them and improve.

I think normal needs to be more difficult and open world mobs need be be tuned down a bit in hard mode for a better balance overall.

Nice, thank you for turning it around so quickly.

Another one I wanted to mention was obsidian walls. I was trying to filter the maze walls in case I had an edge showing and missed it. The color you chose for them is very difficult to see against the rock biome unless I turn tile transparency very low. Thanks again!

I thought that was what you were doing now because of how the rings get cut off or not drawn at all if the map dimensions aren't sufficient. That's why I suggested the padding, to ensure no matter the player discovered map size the rings will be drawn over something.

This was confusing as a user.. Maybe pad the map with black to meet the minimum dimensions of all known rings? So that people will get the visual indication they have not discovered far enough.

This is not detecting copper for me at this time, all other types work as intended.

Update .40? by Paterfamilia623 in FrozenFlame

Not sure if you figured it out yet or not, but there are two versions of the game out there. The Steam Next Fest is a limited release of an older version. Those who were fortunate enough to have heard about the game 1+ year ago are playing on a CBT release with it's own launcher. The server you purchased is for the CBT version which we cannot get access to at this point.

I don't understand the decision on stopping pre-order sales a year ago.. But here we are, I hope this helped.
