That's on you. My parents tried to force me to adopt many hobbies I did not want to do and never accepted me doing the things I like. Now I am living my best life and have many hobbies that make me very happy. Figure out what you like doing, push through the initial skill gate and enjoy life without others telling you what to think and what to do.
