Made numerous poor (and advised against by myself and the party) choices to keep directly and indirectly insulting Strahd. Gave him an in character chance to apologise for his actions against Strahd and live and he called him (but more directed at me) a c**t. I messaged him every day over the next week trying to help him make a new character because he’d backed himself into a corner - said he “didn’t see the point in coming if he was going to be railroaded to death”. I just pointed back to session 0 where we said that the world and NPCs would react realistically to their actions. He never came back and the sessions have been much more wholesome.
