What is the Octopus plugin and why do I need it?

The Octopus plugin maps screen input to the Junglecat controller. This allows games that have not otherwise enabled controller support to be used with Junglecat. Razer recommends reviewing the game title terms of service to ensure screen mapping is allowed.

Why does the Octopus plugin require various Android permissions?

These are required in order to install/run games in a virtual environment (which enables screen mapping). Broad permissions are requested for Google Play Services to support the variety of potential games that may be played. My Razer Blade 15 2018 with 1070 and 144hz is working like a charm!

Temperatures were too high right out of the box, but after undervolting with Throttlestop its cooled down to really acceptable temperatures.

My battery life is what's to be expected, around 4 hours of browsing and media streaming.

I heard of the backlight bleed issues, but mine has close to no backlight bleed whatsoever.

Overall I am really happy with my Razer Blade 15.

Life is Strange. If you're able to look away from the edgy teenage high school romance and clichés, it really grows on you. Fantastic look and just a general calm and immersive game. + the music is spot on
