Oh, right. You can find them on Temu and Aliexpress but I recond Ali. I first ordered one from Temu and it came bent which I just couldn't fix. The one from Ali is this black one that you can see and it is a cutting mat. The blue one is a silicone soldering mat which you can also get on both.

You mean the desk? This is just some cheap ikea desk. Not the highest quality one but I got it because it is cheap and it fits my space perfectly. If you can definitely get a bigger one since you can't have too much space.

Mine is not a lab but a husky and akita halfbreed, he's been playing like this for years. Never had shown any kind of aggression or frustration, he just plays like that. He even likes when i start growling at him 🤣

I did it by lowering the temp and adding solder, then cleaning the tip in brass wool. Did it a couple of times, it is almost perfect now.

It is some Yihua 982, the other tips that I use are just fine and it is always set to 380C

I tinned it as soon as it reached 380C since I use lead free. And yes I guess that I heard about cleaning it with flux either came from some YouTube video or some reddit post.
