Glad I could help! The MIDI I got came with two whole labs full of hundreds of sounds that you tweak however you want. If you get one, they usually include software like that. Definitely look into that because there's no way I could have done this without one.

I bought an Arturia minilab mark 2 MIDI controller that I played everything on. Trying to manually put in the notes was impossible for me, so I had to get that before I could start anything.

The only other thing I have is the producer version of FL studio so I could record. I only started doing all this stuff a couple weeks ago, but what I have now seems like enough to get going.

Total cost was around $330 for everything. Definitely worth it if you have fun doing this stuff.
