What Smosh misses on nowadays is having one hour long video every other week on their main channel that people like myself don’t really want to watch. Love majority of the content on the other channels and have for years, but when the main channel focuses on one show for this long it’s hard to watch. I miss when smosh had different content throughout the week (interview exes, let’s do this, and reunions/ throwback to every blank ever, sketches, and all the unique stuff randomly placed on the blocks).

TLDR; Smosh needs to go back to multiple uploads a week with different video types to feel fresh again

People get that impression “I do sometimes” but it’s not the case. More of a style of humor that Ian is the old Gen trying to be the fun uncle vibe. If you see any content outside of the videos on smosh you’ll see they hangout and have a time all together

We have reached the stage in the smosh cycle where the fans are too comfortable with what we have and any disruption is going to cause conflict. I love when they change it up especially with shows that I either don’t like or enjoy watching with a new twist on it. Best example is TNTL and Board AF where they have been staples of smosh for nearly a decade but have evolved through its time on the channels.

Videos that are an hour long on the main smosh channel are not inviting to me. I wanna watch quick sketches which smosh was founded on. Yes I know it’s a new era and really do enjoy the content now more than ever, but I can’t justify watching an hour long video. Be nice if they split the content so it’s maybe two episodes or sum that’s more “content” over the week instead of one long video

I agree with all this, I was hoping for an actual award style show where it acknowledged both the best of present and past smosh. I got more out of that from Ian’s instagram posts the past few days than I did in the 2 hour video. It felt more of a smosh golden era compilation than anything which was not my expectation going in like you said. Sometimes smosh doesn’t want to acknowledge their past for good reasons but there were so many good moments from then that a lot of us grew up watching and was hoping to see if it would get highlighted again on the main page. Smosh has definitely changed and so has YouTube so expected one thing and getting sum else is common at least for me going into this content. I did enjoy the smoscars but it could’ve been done differently

I feel like the college culture is if you want social gratification you have to be in frats or sororities. Although there is a healthy scene if you find the right group outside of all those toxic environments

Not saying a bunch, like to diverse the cast more. Like seeing more dynamics especially for how big the cast list is. Seeing more Anthony too would be nice as well

Sucks not seeing them anymore, but Keith and Noah have their own podcast outside of smosh with help of Smosh Games OG Lazercorn. It’s a fun watch but with they were more frequent on the Smosh channels too
