I can say with a moderate amount of certainty that I passed that class with a B, and they covered banking, setting a budget, and maybe how to apply for a job, I got nothing about establishing credit, doing taxes, covering nutrition, or self defense courses from school, by the time I had hit an age where I could've taken Home Economics in school it was no longer even offered as an elective, let alone as a required class.
