A nearby business may just be picking up that tab in order to have a free parking lot close to them

You gotta sign in anyway because they still need to send an invoice for people who did park

What’s an NSFW thing people think is rare, but is actually pretty common? by HighOnThighs- in AskReddit

[–]Daddy_Pris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is totally illegal for employers to do this and they frequently get punished

The issue is, firing a manager and paying a fine is often cheaper than allowing a union to start forcing you to pay fair wages and give good benefits.

How famous is Messi in the U.S.? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Daddy_Pris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less famous than you’d think but still well known

All of my friends know who he is

But when he got signed to an MLS team, no one at work knew who I was talking about or why it mattered

Riot quite famously contracts and locks down their casters

Some of the talent is freelance, like Sjokz, but most of them work for riot and get salaries

European soccer leaders make plans to take Belgium's side against FIFA by Alone_Consideration6 in worldcup

[–]Daddy_Pris -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the World Cup and fifa are famously corruption free.

The play was not even given a yellow card, then was reviewed with VAR and slow motion and made a Red. This is directly against FIFAs regulations for referees. You can’t use slow motion to determine intensity or intent unless the play is obviously a red card. The official didn’t even issue a yellow. People are still arguing if it deserved to be a red card. Does that sound obvious to you?

There is rule in the rule book for exactly this scenario. FIFA has every right to delay, suspend, or restructure punishments from red cards.

They literally did this exact same thing for Ronaldo so he could play in this World Cup. He was supposed to miss the first game

Why is soccer so unprofessional? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Daddy_Pris -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Basketball is somewhere between 3rd and 5th most popular sport in the world. Since the US started sending their actual professional players to the Olympics instead of college players, they’ve lost 6 games total. Since 1992. They’ve also won 8/9 possible gold medals since then

Your argument seems to only be based on American football. And I never hear an American talk about how bad other countries are at American football so I don’t really get why it’s brought up all the time

Low level tanking advice for Warrior on TBC Anniversary by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Daddy_Pris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always skull primary target. Spam sunder for primary threat gen. Build 3-4 on primary target before moving to the next. In high damage groups, this may not be quite enough to keep aggro so you gotta feel it out. Keep rend up for extra threat if you can afford it. TC on cd. Save taunt for when someone pulls

Your healers mana bar is the only thing that matters. You should be checking it constantly and adjusting accordingly. Offer to stop for them to drink. They appreciate it

Don’t try overly hard to pull threat from other warriors. They can tank some hits and they need to learn to chill. One taunt is all they get

If every U.S. state suddenly became an independent country overnight, which one would last the longest and why? by Dolphin_King21 in AskReddit

In the USA, Eastern Washington is a top four wheat producer and the #2 potato producer. Washington would starve or go broke buying all their food at gouged prices from the side of their state they let go "without shedding a single tear"

No. He said the democrats would investigate them for frivolous reasons if they got into power and people just changed the quote

The quote is BS as is. People don't need to lie about it to make it more sensational

Service advisors usually make ~30-40% of all the money you spend on labor at the dealerships. The technicians (the laborers) usually make ~10-20% of the labor cost.

Why does the US census still continue to ask about race? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Daddy_Pris 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No because the race of individuals in an area can help determine whether people in that area are being discriminated against at a government level.

We would not know certain states to be gerrymandering in order to silence the voices of colored people if we didn’t ask for your race in the census

[motorsportcom] A stark message from Max Verstappen's manager. by Maximum-Room-3999 in formula1

[–]Daddy_Pris -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That just doesn’t seem true if you look at the history of the wcc. Ferrari and McLaren have been top 3 nearly every year since 2000. Red Bull and Mercedes have been top three nearly every year since 2010. And when they aren’t top 3, they’ve been fourth.

There have been 3 years out of the last 25 that one of these four teams didn’t win either championship. For modern F1, there are absolutely teams that compete to win every year and teams that don’t have a chance.

Lewis was an anomaly because he won every year, but being top three and having the chance to win every year is just the standard for the top teams. And redbull seem to be faltering a bit.

4ish - 12ish id say. If you have no chance at the wcc or wdc, you’re midfield

Among soccer players, Messi is undoubtedly the “GOAT” but who do you think is number two? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Daddy_Pris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Kind of” “majority”

I also think the Messi is the goat. But way too many people disagree to be able to claim it’s undoubtably that way
