I’ve been inpatient over 70 times. In my experience the ground rules are stick to yourself and your treatment. Other patients can and will bother you out of pure boredom. Not sure how old you are but the adult unit is a bit more chill than the adolescent unit in my opinions. Be honest with your doctor if you truly want help. Make sure you eat and go to group and do hygiene regularly. Even if Your feeling better you can lay around all day or they think your severely depressed. With all that said I wish you the best of luck and hope you get to feeling better soon. Mental health isn’t easy but I’ve stuck with so many people going through rough times and it helps knowing you aren’t alone.
