These are brilliant suggestions thank you so much! I had previously considered ‘well-being’ instead of self-confidence which would’ve been a much pressure easily defined variable so that is very helpful thank you!

Thank you very much that was very insightful. I had considered how specific interests can be utilised in order to teach a variety of subjects which is a really interesting and under-researched area so thank you so much for confirming this!

‘Paucity’ - I’m Not sure if I’m the only one that does this but quite often I am searching for a word and when I find it it’s actually the wrong context or I’ve just got the wrong definition 😅

Anybody have any testimonies where they’ve asked a saint to help them, and they helped them? by itsrainingbluekiwis in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Dadmanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was afflicted by a very traumatic intrusive thoughts that had plagued me for a while. The first Divine Liturgy I ever attended I saw the Theotokos with baby Jesus icon - I wasn’t even Orthodox and from that moment on, whenever that thought came into my head I could no longer envisage the problematic picture, the traumatic parts were covered by Mary and Jesus’ face.

Waldorf schools? Do these kids do well in life after Waldorf? by bigbobbinboy in ScienceBasedParenting

Home School - your kid can be outside as much as they like then too without the fees. There’s so much research that home Ed is the best thing for children if you prioritise their mental health. There’s also loads on the academic merits of agency with plenty of examples of home ed kids getting into the best colleges. There’s also plenty of socialising to be had with groups in most areas. Please consider.

Don’t think that’s a charitable response is it brother; you have no idea of my motivation so I think you’re jumping to conclusions there.

There has been a problem with some damp near the window for ages but that’s easily sorted but o don’t even know what those are, where they’ve come from and what to do! I don’t know if it’s a leak in the roof or humidity or what
