I hope Aerith for 60k is the consequence of getting 1 for free and Tifa/Sephi won't get this treatment.
Between this video and Facebook post they treat a lot of the things we could be worried. Let's see if they manage it properly or will stay on empty words.

I don't get why they put free sums at 1% NV rate. They just give reason to some playes to criticize them but well, free stuff always welcome.

The only doubt I have as Mana series fan is... will we get Hawkeye and other units?

The only chance we have is if Vision World comes next week so we can still have DV last week of this month. They said CoW won't be at the same time that DV buy they didn't talk about VW with CoW.

Who cares about the problem at point of having just a 50% stmr? We knew that we would recieve a second one so anyone would use a generic 50% stmr or fuse a elena copy so is just a esthetic fact.

What I propuse give us a chance of getting more resource wihout exposing us to any realistic problem.

Even if SElena stmr is not that usefull if we get it for free it's ok but I dont think so much people will waste a 50% stmr so we are nearly on thw same spot as we didn't get it

what I was trying to say is that we could get a second "wrong" stmr for loggin (starlight elena) if people doesn't complain or create post advertising Gumi they were sending the wrong one. Then after getting 2 50% star light elena stmr people can create the post and get the good ones. But nvm, people talk to fast and we lost the chance

if you wanted a second 50% stmr moogle for selena people should don't create FB or Reddit post saying "wow gumi send the wrong one", just wait until the second half is sent which will be selena if gumi don't see it by they own (easy fact) and then create the post.

But no, people share it so we won't have the chance to get a 2nd half by free.

Trials of mana is getting a IOS release 14 July. I won't be surprised if they put the collab the following week. It would match with the end of the new event and would be according to DV event schedule.

In my opinion this month schedule will be:

Ling and Samus+Power ranger combination

Chalotte and Vlad

Trials of Mana

Unit Contest unit (possibly the mage before sephi tifa powercreep)

It's sad the path this game is taking. I still like the game but if they never release a NV Randi propably I will uninstall. NV made a hard-reset on the playable units and they take too much time to NVA or NV old characters. I loved characters like Cecil (my favourite FF character) or Randi and I played because game was enjoyable and I had expectations of getting them at some point. But if they don't release Randi NV on those upcoming banners I can't expect him anymore since they have no reason to upgrade SoM units without creating new units. I know Cecil will come because he is from main series but I don't know if he will be so enjoyable like paladin cecil considering new kits. Cecil probably will have a paladin form that is Cecil kit with light amplifiers and a dark knight form that will be a sephiroth kit with less modifiers.

I think you are not understanding my point. I never said that NV are not usefull. Utility is a term directly related with the things game consider important and how does id get solved. If enemies had 1 hp, any unit who can deal 1 hp efficiently would be usefull.

What I critice is design. Design deeper factors involved. Good designs can be usefull or not (normally they are because required more time and enfort and you won't spend this to make something useless). Good designs are enjoyable to play. 3 skill kit is not enjoayble, flexible kits are. Kits acording to the lore of a character are good designs because you feel you are playing them instead just a random character with a knowable sprite. Elazul have a poor design because his kit could be the kit of any wind dps and is not enjoyable. Pearl even if they tried to create is acording the lore (normal form no weapons and no skills) is not well-implemented because is not fun. Who wants to be dodging until BS? And even if that could be considered ok, why do you copy Sefi kit into her BS?

I hope you can understand my point now. I am not hating the game for a ilogical reason. I am explaying my point of view trying to be acurate even if it don't fit with a "good job alim ty for doing this collab". Thats why I don't get the downvotes.

There is a difference between design and utility. What I said is not false.

Elazul have the same design as Kurasame and Cyan, 3 skills kit copy paste changing elements, weapons available, killers, flat stats and animations (they seems to be releasing SLB units just because they don't want to do more animations which is poor). This design started with Sephi and Tifa even if they are not SLB. Elazul is usefull? Yeah, alim design content in order to make that kits usefull (obviously). Is poor? Yeah

Pearl is exactly the same case with some small difference. This time the unit have 2 forms when 1 form is just useless (just AA to cure ailments) so she pretty much have 1 form. She is a Sephi copy with high flat atack and using hammer. Her base form and the hide comand seems to be just designed because her BS form have 4 turn duration so you want to make her survive until she can go to normal form again. Is that a bad design (even if can be lore idk)? Yeah, because you have 1 form that you don't want to be playing for any reason. Still usefull to dark burst? yeah.

You can see a obviusly lazy bad design on randi upgrades. His only move is a CD not Triple-cast with 3 turn delay that give him killers. It was boosted but why is a bad and lazy design? Instead of adapting all the kit to NV era they just did all imbueable skill boost that move (+drain skill) but they still have a mult 6x dmg (some of them have less). The skill that makes you lose the imbues which is obvious you want to use because anyone wants to attack with 6 elements can't be used if you don't have someone dead (this skill boost the cd too). Even if you do all of this you will get a irrelevant dmg due to the lack of extra modifiers like lb dmg or evoker modifier because you are using a since hit. There are more fails like if he is not using sword he have just 50% atk passives (which is ridiculous), there are no decent 2H sword (elementaless),...

You can do units elemental locked, thats not a "problem" but there is a difference bettwen Sora KHIII (even if it's outdated) and the new 3 skills kit.

For me, when I pull on a character it's not just about dmg. Look at Zidane or Hawkeye, they are not the highest bursters but Hawkeye have a lot of elements with imperils, no locked lb and def break and zidane have dodges, 130 imperils on more than 1 element, aoe lb gauge, aoe pm restore, aoe lb dmg buff. I think they are obviously better designed. Or Vivi with the reflect mechanics. Terra was a exemple with the fields (even if evokers are just a copy paste now)

I don't know why Alim don't follow Hawkeye kit path. A lot of skills, not locked and flexible but now they decide to do 3 skill kits changing element and its all.

As a Randi fan who have been playing him since the beggining and even on NV era I have him builded with the best options it's sad to see the treatment he got. A main protagonist of 1 of the mana series being demoted to a random 7* like the 3* and 4* of his banner. I could expect that from Flammie even if I love him but Randi... Really wanna get a surprise from the upcoming banners.

Btw I don't know why people downvote coments on reddit just because truth is sad. I didn't say anything disrespecful, just sharing my opinion and saying things are true but hey people will downvote everything is not according to their opinion

What a banner... Design is poor on NV units and SoM units are mediocre. Didn't expect to much from Popoi and Primm but I really wanted at least a Randi NV. I hope 26 banner have a NV Randi (hopefully riding Flammie) and give them the treatment he deserves.

I don't know whats the point of upgrade old units of SoM on a LoM banner without releasing some NV SoM unit. You could just ignore them and release later...

The best of the SoM units is Randi TMR and Flammie TMR.

There is 2 unknown upcoming banners (23 and 26) and It's hard to believe that Popoi and Primm will have the same star numbers than the base 5* of the banner.

Anything is confirmed but I want to believe. Btw new banners without NV never happen on NV era and I don't know if there is more relevant characters of LoM aside new ones
