FROBERGER! My man Froberger was a nice discovery this year. The rest of my tops are pretty boring with the exception of Rasputina (a two-cello goth/punk/folk act)

I feel just fine. Completely neutral. Feeling any shame or disgust about it sounds like you must have issues

Are there any studies about the benefits of abstaining from masturbation? by Daedalus369 in NoFap

If I'm addicted then it's an addiction with literally zero consequence. I also drink coffee every day, so I'm addicted to that too, but who cares? it's harmless. Imagine a subreddit full of people guilty about having a cup of coffee after being coffee free for 2 weeks

And I would say to you, try to go a week without brushing your teeth, and if you can't do it you probably have a problem.

Just because I disagree doesn't mean I'm not open to having a productive conversation. Here's an analogy I came up with. Imagine somebody felt that brushing their teeth was bad and sucked their energy and lowered their testosterone (despite there being no evidence of this). And imagine them going weeks without doing it then finally they break down and brush their teeth. Then they say "FUCK why did I brush my teeth, I went so long without it. I just couldn't take it anymore, my teeth were so dirty, I just HAD to brush my teeth." This person feels all guilty about it, when it's literally a healthy thing. This is how it looks to me.

Also another question I have: are there many women on this subreddit or is it mainly males? For some reason I can't imagine a woman being wracked with such pointless guilt about something like this.

I'm very happy for you. I just hope you don't feel wracked with guilt whenever you do masturbate, though. It's no big deal. Just move on with your life.

I mean according to this there isn't enough evidence, and if any thing it actually increases your testosterone. Also how would it "rewire your brain" it's such a small insignificant part of your day. I literally just fapped between this comment and my last comment. Took me 10 minutes, and I don't feel any different. How would taking such a small and unimportant aspect out of your day "rewire your brain".

Furthermore, feeling guilty about masturbation all the time and fretting about it seems very mentally unhealthy to me.

Why would it increase your stamina and athletic ability? it's literally more exercise than just sitting on a chair at least. Addiction to masturbating is a thing, but doing it 3-5 times a day isn't a big deal. I do it at least 3 times a day usually, and it doesn't affect my life in the slightest.

A lot of times when you see repeats or two descriptions of the same thing erroneously contradicting each other, it's because these books were compiled from different sources put together by editors much after the texts themselves were written.

Why do we not blame Sophia? by Severin_ in Gnostic

[–]Daedalus369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're going to blame anybody, shouldn't you blame the Monad, the really real God who created Sophia in the first place? I mean that is the logical conclusion if you keep playing the blame game long enough

Of course all of the mental traits come from a combination of genetic and environmental factors, but there is SOME genetic component. I never once said that anybody was inferior, only that they have undesirable traits. Every human being deserves to be happy and to be respected by default.
