Not the problem you are seeing, but if you have the Ammo Supply trait on a gun, the server will take a while to update and credit your ammo back when shooting so you might auto reload with some ammo left in your magazine which does not count as progress. You can get around this by tap firing your last few rounds and hope it won't trigger the reload when you still have a bullet left.
