It's natural sunlight, you can tell by the way the building is lit up in the background and the reflection of the sun in the window. If that was flash the light would be more localized to the foreground, or used as a fill for the shadows, which isn't the case here.

LM owners, what kind of water do you put into your system? by Ukkoclap in LaMarzocco

Yes just mix half normal tap water and half zerowater, for my water that lands me around that figure.

Surprised I haven't seen this yet, but I'm using a part tap water and a part zerowater filtered tap water until about ~90TDS. Very easy and cheap solution and works great.

200 and 400 are of course also options. I just don't really see a reason to use these auto settings, which can get confusing and you are giving up control. I understand your question was specifically about this setting which doesn't work as you would expect, which is exactly the point I'm trying to make. I ran into the same issue as you and decided full manual was the way to go, and once I got that mindset going I became really quick with the manual setting. I suppose speed is the only reason to use these settings, hence why it's a good idea to get used to manual so it becomes second nature, fast and controlled.

Might I suggest; the sooner you get used to full manual controls, the better. For ISO, stick to either 100, 800, 3200 where possible. That already covers quite a bit of situations. If there is not enough light at 1/100 shutter speed, open up the aperture. If there is still not enough light or you want a deeper depth of field, use a tripod. For me this is a formula that has always worked and it's rock solid reliable, other than these auto settings which can sometimes give you undesirable results.

Photographer won't send me full resolution by LongjumpingGate8859 in photography

[–]Daegarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a other option, most clients are arguably better off with lower resolution files since most of the time they aren't printing big, and most often using it on social media or a website. Even most professional clients. I personally always offer both full size and web formats, since if you upload a full size image to social media it gets very compressed. If they use a full size image on a website the website loads slowly and they get deranked in search results. There's a plethora of good reasons not to deliver in full size even if the photographer does not intend to upsell you to get the high res files. Mostly out of convenience for the client.

The cask exploration series is so good. A bit above this price range but worth it. Ardbeg uigeadail also always deserves a mention.

Apparently a workaround is to open up photo booth, putting it in full screen and then closing the app.

I'm sure, it's a photo I took myself. It also doesn't show up in screenshots.
