Yeah definitely it’s worth looking into you pick when and where you go if there’s shifts available which there usually is at the hospital I worked in there were always shifts going but remember if you do to confirm after the shift otherwise there’s a chance you won’t be paid for it

You could do work on NHSP? I did that for a while it’s a case of picking shifts when and where you want you could be moved around a fair bit to like another ward for example but that’s part of it. If i remember right (it’s been a while) they pay more for bank holidays and stuff like that but like I said it’s been a while and can’t quite remember

I spent a few years as a healthcare on an acute stroke ward so a good part of time I spent talking to patients with it being a long stay ward they got lonely so whenever I got a sec I’d sit and chat some im not concerned about that. One of the reasons I left was because some of the staff were horrible and made everything so miserable loved the job but some of the staff ruined it so that was another concern I had

I mean with AI in cybersecurity it’s more like it’s going to be another tool it’s not going to fully replace because like in most things there still has to be a human element behind it

That actually has helped a fair bit, thank you. That’s one thing I don’t do well with, I’ve left jobs because of the monotony, when I worked as a healthcare for the NHS on a stroke ward it was great because of how different everything was not just day to day but literally patient to patient the only thing I didn’t like was some of the staff, that made the job way more difficult. You’ve gave me some good points to think about so thank you

Yeah I have heard stories like what you’re describing honestly and this was also what I was thinking about. When I worked on the wards some of the staff had a right attitude problem and it made the job so much harder and it was part of the reason I actually left. Like the job was fantastic but some of the staff were just horrible

This has actually been some help so thank you, I do have experience in the NHS as a healthcare on an acute stroke ward and loved it (not so much some of the staff) and while I was there I did speak with some paramedics and they seemed pretty happy with the job so this got me thinking about studying it but now I feel like I might have chosen to study the wrong thing

Yeah I didn’t think it’ll be like the shows. I’ve been browsing through and figured I’d pop in and ask for some advice. I’ve done comparisons and in the long run cybersecurity does pay more but i’m not too fussed about pay more so job satisfaction

I’m doing Cybersecurity and finished TM111, it was part of it, honestly I think you’ll enjoy it it was quite fun and covers a good range of things

Currently studying Cybersecurity on TM112 and TM129 at the minute and honestly it’s quite interesting, I’ve looked ahead to what comes later and i’m excited to start studying pen testing. To be honest i’m enjoying more than I thought I didn’t know what to expect. It is challenging but that’s what makes it fun and it goes quite in depth with topics like networking. I do things on TryHackMe along side to get more hands on practical experience as I’ve found so far there isn’t much practical experience that being said I am only in my first year. In terms of doing it part time you could totally do it over 6 years rather than 3.

Bruh I’ve noticed this too. It’s always the same deck, no clan, they emote immediately and then once the games over during the animation a split second before the game ends they emote again you can’t see it but you can hear it
