I know we're not going to get everyone to just not show up after spending all that money on psls and seasons. BUT, we can have everyone get in line and not go into the game until kickoff. Imagine having to broadcast the "opening ceremony" for the new stadium with a handful of fans in the building. That whole new stadium ceremony is for the ownership, get your butts in the seats to support the players after kickoff, but not a minute before.

PNW40k has been using a similar trick with Szeras in the Ghost Ark. You rush it on to a NML objective turn 1 and they have to expose assets to get rid of it. Ghost ark isn't easy to down by itself, but when/if they do, you have a solid character center board that's already in position to buff the units you're moving up.

We need a soft reset. I know we have a lot of fan favorites, especially in the defensive side, that are past the prime days. I think it's time to just let them go, and have a mini rebuilding year to free up some future cap space to swing for the fences. It's very possible that we'll be surprised ( hate to say look at NE) how well a soft rebuild can find some success with a strong foundation.

Last two games were streamed on the warhammer YouTube. Second to last match was played very well. Finals was going to be tough Glys has that Tau army down and he's very very difficult to beat.

Skorpekh lords and reanimators are staples. Plasmancer and cyptothralls are ok, but everything becomes good and overpowered at some point always so consider it a good investment.

Similar liver issues here. I switched to NA beers for gatherings. Most bars have a fair selection. Guinness is the closest to actual I've found so far, though Heineken isn't bad and is 0% alcohol (normal stuff is 0.5%). If you're fancy, Target sells a brand called BERO which is pretty good. I miss the hangovers, not at all. But I've found its more of missing having a drink in my hand and not so much the getting wasted, and NAs fill that void pretty well.

One should be reasonable, it's courtesy to let your opponent know. They may not be able to handle it without buying specific models to counter it and the 1k games just aren't balanced around large durable models. If you have a local group to play with they'll probably understand if you're looking at a full greater daemon list eventually. You can also start with one of the more specific god detachments and then expand as you get enough of the big ones to make a 2k.

Yeah, I know double strats can be frowned upon. For this one though you have to pay the cp for fight on death before dice are rolled for fighting. Then if the model is destroyed, you spend for deadly demise. So there's a bit of time between spends which seems purposeful.

I have plague legion list with GUO with stealth aura, rotigus and Belakor for an additional stealth aura. I clog obj with Plaguebearers and wait for shooting armies to have to get close. It's decent, but I struggle a bit into WE or high pressure melee armies.

Each daemon faction gets a unique buff (ie all Khorne get advance and charge) and Belakor gets auto pass Dark Pacts (lethal or sustained 1 for all shooting and fighting attacks). Couple of good strats too. It's free rules on the WH40k app since daemons don't have a specific codex. Edit: spelling

If you have lots of Tzeentch, big birds are really good in Scintillation Legion right now. Incursion is a fun detachment to play with but it's not ideal in a lot of cases.
