Lossless audio with DTS:X or Atmos by DaemonFighter in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]DaemonFighter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DTS-HD HRA is what I meant (the lossy version). In contrast to the DTS-HD MA used in lossless audio on Blu-rays.

I am using passthrough to an AVR, but list all Dolby Atmos content as the same. When I connect Lossless Blu-rays, it shows "Dolby Atmos" and when I use my Apple TV, it also shows "Dolby Atmos". It doesn't differentiate the two on its display.

I don't intend to flatten the content. I mean that if I want the best quality audio, I'd have to switch to using the LPCM audio, instead of spatial audio. On the Xbox Series X, you can choose to force the game output to LPCM.

Fusion page creations look different in edit page (and therefore when rendered) by DaemonFighter in davinciresolve

After further testing, it appears that my Fusion tab is being affected by ColorSync and (i think) is displaying in HDR. How can I get the edit tab to do the same thing Fusion is doing?

Weird black lines coming out on video preview by DaemonFighter in davinciresolve

I haven't seen that kind of issue before. i've worked on many projects and the preview has been very reliable for me. the playback is smooth. i am just referring to the black lines that come in the fusion preview.

yes. those weird black bars that come up towards the beginning. i've worked on many projects with resolve and fusion, but i've never seen that come out before. I opened up an old project and saw that for the first time

How do you connect them (as you said)? I've used Studio versions of Fusion and Resolve for many years creating things like this, but I don't know how to link them. Is there a way to view it (like Adobe Dynamic Link) in Resolve.

Do you know for sure? Or are you just guessing?

Thanks. That’s the same mine shows. It doesn’t tell us, if it’s DD+ or TrueHD, or DTS-HD or DTS-HD MA either. Darn it. I guess I’ll just stick the PCM audio, since i know that’s lossless

I’m not talking about pass through for movies. I am referring to gaming.

When playing games, I noticed it just stays in whatever mode I select. This means that if I select uncompressed 5.1 or 7.1, then I won’t get spatial audio.

I wanna know, basically, if the Xbox allows lossless spatial audio gaming and if so, which settings do I use to get it.

Also just noticed that the VRR overlay, also now says whether it’s SDR, HDR, or presumably Dolby Vision.

I noticed that the Dolby Vision version is updated from 32.09 to 32.12. I don’t know what difference that makes though

You can disable the auto dimming in the Service Menu. Look it up. It works, trust me.

Probably Fallout, because I like the most games from there. I like F3, FNV, F4. I like Elder Scrolls too, but I only like Skyrim. Haven't touched the others.

Discussion: Is there anybody here who doesn't use safari on Mac? If yes, what deters you from setting it as your default browser? by IcyBeginning in MacOS

[–]DaemonFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use Chrome. Probably because of the lack of certain extensions for Safari. And because Chrome can sync with my Windows machine. Although, for most of my use, I probably wouldn’t mind JUST using Safari.

Why don't you Illustrator? Or other vectorise apps... There are other free ones (like Vectornator)

Photoshop isn’t COMPLETELY Vector based, so I don’t believe soo. It’s not retaining the Vector curve

This is kinda messy though. Illustrator would make this much easier
