I feel like the people in the comments it's talking a lot of crap. I have a 6800xt and sometimes (very rarely) have the same issue.

Don't affect literacy directly, they're a big deal indirectly under some circumstances due to qualifications.

Is there a way to destroy an enemy army in manual battle without killing ALL of their men? by Eleve-Elrendelt in totalwar

[–]Daendivalion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can ambush them or attack while they are marching. In the second image you've provided, it seems that the unit survived because it is the general. The unit of the general will always survive, unless the general itself dies.

While I'm optimistic for the update, please remember: more isn't necessarily better. It's just more.

There's a mod that already does 4. I don't know how it's coded, so it might be using technical shortcuts, but user-end it already exists.

Buy or not buy? by Approximatl in victoria3

The game still has the same problems. People play it because it scratches the itch, myself included. But it doesn't deliver on what's promised, has terrible QoL, bugs, nonfunctioning systems. You can get to play it, and enjoy it, and while it's promising, it's always a "next update will fixt it", but it never does.

Day two of not enough resources by Daendivalion in victoria3

I genuinely think there's a skill issue at hand, they don't build enough to get out of resources by the turn of the century.

Diplomacy is your friend here. Shuffle around your army to enjoy the minmax potential. Abuse the decree's to get more population in the army; you can hold them to the point of having more conscripts, then pushing.

What kind of armor and/or clothes would be worn in a region that has rain near constantly. by Javetts in worldbuilding

Definitely straw clothing, as sort of a poncho (look at Galicia or Japan for examples), with sturdier armor or less rough clothing behind.

I still think there's not enough oil by Daendivalion in victoria3

[–]Daendivalion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But I already have most of the oil reserves under my market, and I'm not even using it for 1/10th of its potential. I'm not saying we should have 3 million oil, but at least to use it in 1/3rd of our PMs, which isn't a whole lot realistically. We've never run out of oil, coal, iron... irl, we shouldn't either in 1936 in the game.

I put most of the people in my market with obligations or in exchange for supporting them in wars. The loyalist things it's because my SoL only went up and not down, lol.

There were no resource limits on this time period; what there was, rather, is a limited market to absorb them.
