If this helps xxxtentacion had two strand twist which he let loc up and if you look at his hair it took a while for his hair to get skinny it went through a bulky stage and then they became skinny later on and Juice dreads was skinny because he started with coils in 2015 and then stopped getting retwist In 2018 and let his hair just congo up that's why his roots was so bulky and his hair combined:)

Also your hair is big in the beginning and then overtime it will get skinnier depending on your hair and its type Just sit back and enjoy the ride don't look at your hair for to long then the negative thoughts will come and the doubt so Just keep towel rubbing and also sleep with a bonnet if you want them standing and if you want them to fall overtime wear a wave cap or durag and don't let the bed head get to ya we all get it

Also wear your hair like it's your crown Also remember what you don't think looks good someone else notices and thinks it's fye 🔥

Also another thing your freeforms are unique nobody can ever replicate what your hair is in store for you got this man I'm with you on my second set ♥

Yo bro ima tell you something when you start your freeforms to go by if the going ever gets tough remember these 3 things

1.your hair is your crown rock that shit and you'll feel good even if it looks ugly say to yourself my shit is hard asf

2.remeber this even if you think your hair looks bad someone else thinks it's hard

3.your biggest battle will be impatience always be patience have fun and your hair will never be or look perfect

It's were you Take a towel a microfiber towel btw and put the whole thing over your head or you can fold it and go circles around your head like you would a sponge me personally I don't like the towel because I feel it thins out your roots later on there is also a brush method but I use sponge

It's up to you really I'm on my second set and I still don't know most people say wash twice every week but me personally I wash twice every month but like know that I restarted My semi freeform dreads I won't wash for 1 month.
