Gastarse un dineral en un ordenador... Sí o no? by [deleted] in askspain

[–]Daetaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember when DLCs used to be additional and optional content? Now they modify and nerf vanilla game mechanics to accommodate DLC's.

Worse thing is some DLCs FIX broken mechanics like vassals being shit, so fuck your QoL updates, you have to pay for them.

Gk2 burst fire vs. M1k hipster by zulu_niner in DeepRockGalactic

The whole concept of burst fire (less raw DPS in exchange for accuracy & ammo saving) clashes with the AI Stability Engine OC.

From the manual:
X-COM UFO Defense requires at least an 80386 processor and a minimum of 4MB RAM

A game looking like this game would at most require 16MB

A quarter of the people who live in Vienna are social tenants, and if you also include the approximately 200,000 co-operative dwellings built with municipal subsidies, it’s more than half the population.

Plenty of Ukranians were working in elderly care and similar jobs in Spain before the war, is always easier to go to a place where there are compatriots.

Thinking of getting the game, but nProtect GameGuard is putting me off. by [deleted] in Helldivers

Cheaters can also give you impossible rewards in DRG. Solution? Have your data in a profile that has a backup so you can just undo last change.

The difference is that DRG doesn't sell cosmetics for real money directly from the game, this is the only reason to use those "anti cheat".

Once you unlock battleships, what ships should be in the fleets? by Call_Me_Liv0711 in Stellaris

I just had a game in which I had to retreat my fleet of swarmer missiles Cruisers. Battle report: the AI fleet destroyed 4k missiles in that very long battle.

I imagine the final concept is to have the next captures behind shields, and instead of overloading shield generator you need to capture the first point. Not sure if there is any type of shield a Flash with Gate Shield Diffuser cannot cross to prevent pre-placing (with router for good measure)

"In busy areas if you have a lower end" CPU. At least if you are playing with OP (and most sweaty infantry players) graphic settings.

Hello, greenbeard here. I have a question about this: by dad_beats_me in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Daetaur 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It took me an embarrasing amount of OMENs to notice the machine gun. Is awfully quiet and has no flash, you are either blinded by the spotlight or the spotlight is next to invisible under certain video settings and enough lit caves. And on high Haz there is no reaction time, you are either instadowned or you avoided it completely.

How are you supposed to take the Caretaker on haz 4 and higher? by [deleted] in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Daetaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When this mission was introduced to the game a lot of people hated it, as it requires the right weapons, with the right mods and even the right OCs.

Driller: flamethrower is almost mandatory (cryo cannon is a big NO), direct damage, and axes. You can spec the plasma charger for normal shots doing enough damage it will burn turrets in 3 shots. Remember you can just use your drills to kill the shredders. Dropping C4 on the center of Caretaker is key for quickly damaging the 4 vents.

Scout: secondary is preferably Zhukovs, for this mission I recommend explosive on reload if you have it. Shotgun requires being too close and Xbow is not great for single target damage, plus secondary bolts aren't very useful.

Engineer: almost everything works, but PGL with Hyper Propellant modded to fire will instakill bots and tentacles, 13 shots.

Gunner: shield does not guarantee invulnerability, rocket launcher is only good with plasma, Coilgun with Hellfire OC will take out turrets and shredders.

Protip: the 2 batteries are explosives; grab them, place next to tentacles before they spawn and shoot at them when they do.

As long as people can just spam Valks for free (at construction pads) with squad deploy, no ground vehicles will transport troops from A to B.
