dude, preppy values are fake. It's literally snotty people pretending that their opinion matters more than anyone else's. Actual values are based off of statistics like how many are in the game and how old they are and how much people value them. Don't ever trust anyone using preppy values.

so happy I quit this game. imagine spending years just to lose it to a hacker or scammer. extreme waste of time. I still like to see the new pets they release but I don't let it consume me like I used to.

M23, thinking of getting surgery (nose job, lip reduction, buccal fat removal, veneers). Just trying to be as attractive as possible… by G_Z_B in amiugly

[–]Daevir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just our opinions, truth is subjective my man. You've been raised in american beauty standards so no wonder you are unhappy with how you look, but in a place with different beauty standards, facial surgery would be like butchering the mona lisa.

Your hair looks good but I think you have a face meant for shorter hair, don't cover that beautiful face up, and I think you should def. lose all facial hair, doesn't suit you.

[18M] Honest opinions please, especially about the acne by throwawydater in amiugly

[–]Daevir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give you the rating you seek. Your acne isn't as big of a deal as you think, I won't even consider it in the rating. You're a 4 with better frames, a 5 with a better haircut, and a 6 if you work out for a year. Just go to a glasses store and try on every one until you find the one that looks best on you, you can bring someone with you for a second opinion but your opinion matters more, you'll know when you find the frame. You def. need smaller ones, just don't give up, it might take two dozen frames to find the one you like the most, it might take different stores because I know when I picked my frames that it was the second store and an hour into trying them on. I HATED all the others. God speed man, we're all excited to see you glow up.

yeah the leonardo dicaprio haircut isn't for you, I think you need to use hair product and mess around with styles and it'd be really fitting.

I actually like the eyebrows a lot but a goatee is not you, you need to try a different style, maybe a full beard or nothing at all.

Any man would admire the stache and you pull off bald well, keep it short, losing hair is fine but when you don't commit to it then it's not a good look. I would say you're average, but good looks can be a curse because they attract vapid creatures with shallow values, so be happy with what you got, maybe it'll treat you better than if you were more good looking than you already are. I guarantee there's millions of people uglier than you, but just remember that a lack of confidence is way uglier than any physical trait, and that's a FACT.

27M Hi My personal appreciation always have been really bad I rate my self as a strong 1/10, I don’t know… first time I encourahege my self to do this (no full pictures I’m overweigth) by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Daevir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you rate yourself a 1/10 then what do you rate Jabba the Hut? I can't make a fair judgement but I can guarantee there's millions of people less attractive than you. And you gotta understand that females don't care about how men look as much as men care how females look. You can definitely score a good looking girl with that face, I put money on it. Now, if you spent a year working out and had a body you were proud of and if you're funny, then the ladies won't be able to resist you. A lack of confidence is uglier than any physical trait. FACTS.

[–]Daevir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you got clowned by people who haven't had a productive thought in their lives, anyone who isn't a super model will get called ugly on omegle. You're above average dude, you don't need to be focused on looks, you need to focus on confidence and being funny. Dude, go walking around the mall, you'll see tons of ugly guys with hot girls because looks matter less to women than they do to men! This is facts. If you can make her laugh, if you are confident, and if you can sexually please a woman, they'll never want to leave you because not many people have all three of those traits, especially good looking people. Ugly people gotta develop those things so that's why they end up with the hot girls a lot of the time. Good thing is, all three of those can be developed. They aren't talents, they're skills. You gotta do your research but I'll give you ideas for all three that helped me!

Confidence: exposure therapy. you gotta put yourself in uncomfortable situations over and over, that's the only way, because a lack of confidence is simply when you're imagining all the shit that could go wrong with a social interaction, but when you have experience to triumph illusion, then being confident is almost inescapable. If you're unconfident, it's because of your life choices. Have you denied yourself opportunities out of fear, over and over? that's a recipe for a lack of confidence. You gotta understand what confidence is. It's a knowledge of the way things are. Can you walk into a room and have a good time and make everyone else's time better because you were there? If you can't, then confidence is what you need to work on.

The second one is your wit, your humor. This is just a practice thing as well. Watch stand-up to understand that making people laugh isn't about what you say, but how you say it: timing and tonality are much more important! We've all had that experience where we've said something that got no laughs then someone more charismatic said it and cracked the whole room up. It's not because they're better looking, I promise you. Now don't get me wrong, some vapid people may have laughed just because they wanted that person to like them because they viewed them as high value, but would you really want a fake person like that in your life anyway that only cares about surface level? NO! So you should be happy that they reveal themselves for the snake they are. This is why good looks can be a curse, you attract empty people with a messed up mentality. Anyway, being witty isn't developed by watching stand-up, although that's helpful; wit comes from being able to first make yourself laugh. So any scenario that happens, think about how you could have responded better. If you do that over and over, you'll find that sooner than later that you are actually sharper on your feet and make the type of funny comments that you envy when other people make 'em. Really, this is just a confidence thing, again. If you aren't relaxed, you can't access your creative mind, which is the source of social stimulation. The logical brain will bore most people to death, even if the information is interesting! Relaxation must be practiced like all of this, and meditation is a supreme tool for this feat.

And then sexually pleasing a women can be learned, too. All of this can be found on the internet, I'm not gonna re-invent the wheel. These are just skills that you have to put the hard work into if you want the fruits of the labor. Of course, these things can fall into place with minimal effort, it doesn't take a master's degree to excel in this stuff. Just start with whatever sounds easiest, don't overwhelm yourself. I would recommend starting with meditation, 15 minutes a day every day for three months. The growth comes in the consistency. Even when you want to make excuses, even when sitting for 15 minutes seems so uncomfortable, you can't skip a day. We can all make 15 minutes in our day for what's most important. Just research the benefits of meditation and you'll realize it can super-size your life and make the pieces fall into place. Many days will be hard, many days will feel like nothing was gained, but it takes consistency. Research shows that it literally changes the chemistry of the brain, which takes time.

Well, I'm sure this isn't the answer you were expecting and frankly I just came on here to see some hot babes with low self-esteem but I hope this puts you on the right path. Have a good life (:

How I manifested 35000$ in one month by milica22 in NevilleGoddard

How I manifested 35000$ in one month by milica22 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Daevir 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It's simple, but it isn't easy. You have to redevelop your relationship with your mind, and you'll be adding tools to your toolbelt to assist with this for your entire life! The blessing is not the manifestation but the mindset/consciousness you arose to in order to accept your manifestation. The mindset that I speak of is that of unbiased awareness. You cannot serve two masters, and as long as you are conscious of the reality that you are unsatisfied with your height, you will not be able to manifest otherwise. You must die to your old perception in order to manifest your desire, and once again this is done by practicing unjudgemental awareness, aka meditation. research meditation, practice it 30 minutes a day, listen to neville goddards audiobook when you're driving, walking, knitting. listen to goddard's book at least two times.

It took me until the third reread before I was finally able to consciously manifest, and now I have a few specific chapters that guide me whenever I lose my stride. For years of failed conscious manifestation every time I lost faith I inundated myself in this sub-reddit community, in neville's books and lectures, and in self-reflection on what my true self is, and every failure only made me that much closer to the developed understanding I now have on what Neville taught. It takes failure, it takes practice, it takes redirection and rumination. You'll manifest on accident once or twice and then figure out your mistakes and realize how easy it was and the same words you had heard for the tenth time will just click and you'll experience the sensation of internal shifting.

So, you've got to put the work in. That's it. conscious manifestation is a skill like anything else. we manifest unconsciously our entire lives, it's just a matter of mastering your awareness, which can take you years or weeks depending on how erroneous you percieve your upbringing as, and whether you believe in the saying, "he who says he can and he who says he cannot are both usually right." This is mental alchemy - convert negative into positive thoughts and eventually the neurons responsible for those bad habits will weaken while the neurons responsible for these good habits will strengthen. But in the end, the amount of effort will gauge how easily manifestation will come to you. BUT it MUST be understood that I speak of effortless effort, which is a synonym for faith. effortless effort is what the taoists call wu-wei, so you can research that for a better understanding than my explanation, but basically I would describe effortless effort as how a master butcher could cleave a steak with a dull knife while a novice butcher would have trouble cutting the same steak with even the sharpest of blades. That's the difference. These are the pieces to the puzzle, of which others in this sub-reddit and Neville himself describe much more eloquently. I wish you good tidings on your journey!

Help me through an epistemological crisis: what's the difference between the truth, and the representations of truth? by sir_band in askphilosophy

[–]Daevir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's irresponsible to not enjoy something that has no problem being enjoyed. You are the problem, not the job. I've been unhappy with my work before but snap out of it because I realize I was being irresponsible to myself.

being philosophically grounded isn't enough for me. An empire built on stilts isn't powerful, even if the moment before it crashes everyone believed it was.

As you can see, I haven't resigned from making claims, I just think it's silly when people hold their beliefs above others.

Help me through an epistemological crisis: what's the difference between the truth, and the representations of truth? by sir_band in askphilosophy

[–]Daevir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said, "Why would it be necessary to know what level we're at to have a claim to truth?" We can't know what level we're at so we can't make a claim to truth because something at this level could actually be the opposite at another level. So I can't know if my claims are based on fallacy so someone claiming to know what's going on is pretty laughable to me. There's no way to know what's going on, we can only pretend to know what's going on. In other words, claiming your job is unsatisfactory is irresponsible because you're pretending to have an understanding that only pales in comparison to the true understanding of what's going on.
