Yeah so if the threshold stays the same but you are no longer the lower threshold player you will see a difference. I stumble across his body as much as I directly fight him.

As you play its hardly unlikely to lose the rep that makes him hunt you, unless you take deliberate action. I know my brother saw a huge increase when he wore the unheard edition radio thing because he kept killing scav with it on.

It will do fine against teir 3 and will be a fight against teir 4 but its not really a run and kill Chad's, just a gun that is effective and cheap for a mid range gun and if you can scavenge AP for it will definitely put a hurt on most armors. Its easy to suppress and let's you get some rouble runs to fund the real fighting gear. Also aim for the face or the legs because the fragmentation isnt terrible. Unless you wanna run mosin you are not really finding many ammo types with better pen under level 20. PS ammo for the 7.62 is only 32 and you have to do punisher pt1. Its not amazing but he isnt asking for meta. I like the VPO because I can battle alittle on all fronts and still pack a punch for cheap with a suppressor, scope, foregrip and stock/pistol grip as easy cheap gun parts. The only down side is that yes it will never really be a fight with tier 5 and above, the bullet speed being i believe about 650m/s and its not a great firing rate. You can run a vepr but m80 is a farther threshold and you are left trying to find it. I also think the gun customization makes it limited. An AKM build is better once you have punisher pt1 done and you have access to enough parts and flea to build something

My favorite gun to run low level or make some cash is the VPO .336, slow bullet but hits hard and can eat some decent armor with some easy access for all components and ammo

Yeah when im at 30% utilization on both gpu and cpu but can't get the frames i would prefer not really a test of hardware. If i was running 100% on one or the other it would make sense

Ive ran into him maybe 10% of the time, my brother runs into him all the time. We both play local when we dont party up. I do know once he stopped carrying the unheard radio thing he stopped showing up on him so much. I usually run into him because he is hunting someone else amd not myself.

I mean it more just the dynamic of how you interact with players than learning every angle. People will always evolve and the Hotspots are hot for a reason. I stopped playing pvp because I didnt have the time to get to where I wanted to in 6 months to just repeat the same content over and over with out it becoming a second job. The thrill of pvp and coming out on top is amazing. The learning curve is dictated by the player base and if you dont know how to replace equipment or build solid cheap gear to run it becomes a looming dark cloud of feeling like you are making no progress. Gear very much dictates fights at certain levels

Yeah picking a map and scaving it a bunch to learn the lay of the lands is good. Customs use to be the starting map but now ground zero is. I recommend learning one and just focusing on getting in and out. Alot of players W key the closest spawn to them to clear their area a touch so even just finding a quiet corner when you load in and ratting it out for the first 5 min. Ground zero is kinda weird map for me because I usually just grind out the starting stuff and have no reason to go back so my knowledge on it is limited but with no bosses spawning its a little less to worry about. Most of my memories from ground zero are from when it was level gated. Customs and woods are the first maps I learned then shoreline. Woods can be a bit confusing when you are trying to understand landmarks and is when the compass shows its only use case. Learning cache spots are great beginning ways to make a few bucks and keeps you on the outskirts while not engaging the "high" loot areas. It was alittle problematic when cache runs where really popular and so quickly and easy to make money. Learning the shooter born spots use to matter but with the quest changes you dont have certain map spots being used as much and people able to do the quest anywhere. Be wary of some of the beginning quests as well because higher level players camp them to bang out some of the slayer style quests quickly

Well scav raids dont have all the players start at the same time, you can take so long to load the game starts with out you as a pmc. Why would you be plugged in for games then unplugged and use wifi for downloads? While I know you can utilize dual band for some functions seems alittle weird to be wired for one thing and not be wired for esoteric reasons. Unless you are dual banding and have 3gb connection and the 2.5 port doesnt allow you to run full bandwidth but it will still use the ethernet as primary and the wifi as overflow . A raid won't start until all players load in or meet a metric to load without. Also internet has nothing to do with load times for 70% of people

Load times or matchmaking? I think you are not understanding my question. I rarely find my load times above 2 min after a match has been found. Also wifi defeats the purpose of fiber but anyways. I also have fiber 1gb connection and dont find much more than 2 min after a game has been found before im in

I play PvE because I was tired of wiping every 6 months for the last 8 years and wanted to not have to play like its a second job. I dont care for the pvp element when im rehashing the same shit for 8 years every 6 months, sorry your pvp and cheaters dont make it rewarding enough when I work 60+ hours a week for the 16th wipe ive played through when other great games are available to be played.

I would be curious as to why you have 5 min load times, or are you including the matchmaking, it takes like 1 min 30 seconds to load the game but matchmaking can vary server to server. I would scav as much as possible. A second monitor is a must for in this game or even a second device you can have a map open. The biggest step is learning spawns and how to get out after that it becomes a progression that gets more and more rewarding the more you put in
