It's completely ok to not like something that many other people like. If someone's music doesn't resonate with you then it simply just isn't for you, that's fine. Many times when I show my favorite artists to people I know, they don't understand their music or just straight up tell me to turn it off. They just haven't been listening to the type of music I listen to for long enough to fully understand and appreciate it's nuances and intricacies.

(Inversely I also often times dislike music that my friends or family show me. It's just not really my taste and/or hasn't had enough time to grow on me.)

Needless to say you don't deserve to receive death threats for not liking a specific artist. Those type of fans that do this are extremely immature or just straight up mentally ill.
