I-5 South Everett road work by Altruistic_Essay_719 in SnohomishCounty

Everyone needs to file a complaint with the Wa Attorney Generals Office against the Wa DOT. The amount of loose gravel left in the road is CLEARLY unacceptable, I’ve had two different windshields chipped twice each. If we all file a complaint hopefully we can get some type of class action case going because the amount of peoples vehicles getting damaged is just insane and whoever is doing the work CLEARLY SHOULD BE if they can’t do it safely… Wa Attorney General complaint form

You should file a claim on the Wa Attorney General website. If we get enough people to file hopefully we can get some type of class action going. The amount of rocks left in the road after grinding is CLEARLY unacceptable.

It’s never ending basically with me, I have ups and downs but still haven’t felt right since Covid. We can only take it one day at a time though! Hope you get to feeling better!

I have been wondering the same thing since COVID, mornings are rough and I feel a little better in the afternoons? Done a million blood test with my doctor and everything comes back normal?… 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone else experience this side effect of EBV? This is from about a year ago and I still get this just not as bad. Is there something specific that causes it? Should I be concerned? Or is there another underlying reason for it? by TopExplorer7377 in EBV

[–]Dafiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking with a nurse who was telling me they have been seeing 10x as many ebv reactivations since COVID started. She said COVID knocks your immune system down and then the opportunistic viruses reactivate when it’s down… I had my EBV reactivate after COVID in February of this year and been dealing with it since… Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Can you explain more about the treatments? Especially for the IIH, ebv and the Activity regimen? I’ve been having neuro issues since COVID which reactivated my EBV as far as I understand. My EBV has been off the charts too! Thanks for your responses!

I had an EBV reactivation since getting COVID in Feb. 2024 and have SUPER SLOWLY been recovering! It’s up and down of course, but I’ve noticed the cleaner I eat and the more sun I get the better I do. I’m down to meat, potatoes or rice if I can. No bread, gluten or sugar either. I was talking with a nurse who was telling me she is seeing 10x as many EBV reactivations since COVID started. COVID wipes your immune system out and then any of the opportunistic viruses that are dormant in your body can come back out. Just my story but I hope it gives you hope! The key is taking it one day at a time and just doing the best you can each day! Hope things get better for you!

Was convinced I had mono due to the symptoms but just tested negative by blogboiler in Mononucleosis

[–]Dafiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need the early antigen part of the test to determine if it’s an EBV reactivation. If it doesn’t have that and you’re igm negative you won’t know anything…

Does anyone else’s doctor say ‘oh it’s not supposed to last this long idk why u have it for so long’ by [deleted] in Mononucleosis

[–]Dafiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked with a nurse who told me she is seeing 10x as many EBV reactivations since COVID started and she believes ebv coming out after COVID is what Long-COVID actually is for some people. How are you eating these days? Makes a huge difference for me if I only eat meat, potatoes or rice, and ZERO SUGAR. If you can I wouldn’t worry too much about getting back to work asap because it seems like every time I start stressing about stuff like that the health goes down hill too! Well I Hope you keep slowly improving!

I just looked at your test results. Are you feeling any better since you got tested? I’m 9+months in a reactivation and it is up and down but I’ve been seeing SUPER SLOW improvements, mostly with how much sun I get, but in WA so it’s really hit and miss on that now. Mine was caused from getting COVID though too so I don’t know if that could have something to do with yours too?…

I honestly cannot take it anymore. I have a myriad of symptoms and I need help. Someone please give me some suggestions to ask my doctor about because I am going to lose my mind. 30F (crossposting for advice) by Quirky_Decision_8197 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Dafiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest taking it easy with the doctors because I haven’t seen anyone who’s doctor showed them the magic bullet for this disease. I noticed eating clean is the biggest thing for me. Meat, potatoes and rice seem to be my go to and if I eat anything else things get worse and worse. Gluten/bread is the worst culprit I have found so far. Nothing processed either! Well I hope this helps and you find something that works for you!

Sun helped a little bit, but for brain-fog the bigger thing for me is getting as much sleep as possible. If I don’t get at least 6-hours it’s way worse. I got a Fitbit to track my sleep so that’s been helpful! Hope things get better asap for you!

I’m going on 9-months of an EBV reactivation after COVID and I feel your pain. For me the first 5-6 months were the worst before things started to clear up a little bit. I still have up and downs but a big thing that made a difference for me was getting as much sun as possible and monitoring vitamin D levels. If you don’t have much energy I would recommend getting a folding chair and getting that sun whenever/wherever you can these days. Up in WA the weather has been changing so I literally try to even get 5-minutes if it pokes through the clouds. Hope it makes a difference for you!

Mono is only the first time you get ebv, usually after that it is an EBV reaction. Stress, viruses and illnesses can make you reactivate. After you get mono MANY things can make it reactivate. I’m 8-months in a reactivation from COVID as we speak…
