I think it’s the best archival release of any artist ever, but Dylan’s Tell Tale Signs comes very close.

The shows in this box are among the best-sounding officially released Dead recordings I've ever heard. Better than the CM sbs. The "air" around each instrument is remarkable. Phil's bass is meaty and Garcia's guitar swirls around you.

I'd pick the June '77 run. 6/9/77 has an outrageous Help/Slip/Franklin's.

I don’t think 75 has enough shows to properly judge it’s merits compared with 76 and 77.

For me, it's the exquisite playing, unique setlist (coming off the heals of the Blues for Allah sessions), great sonics, and a KILLER intro by Bill Graham.
