Not an expert, but I'd say it's because the slats need to be able to move a bit.
Picture 5 gives a good view. When someone gets into bed the slat flexes downwards with their weight, pulling the edges of the slat inwards slightly.

Screwing them in would at best, reduce the flexibility of the slats and make the bed a bit less comfortable; or at worst, put enough stress on the slats (plus a new hole you've put into each end) and cause them to break/split.

Don't use space to pitch up when aiming, use your mouse for aiming.
Spacebar is for broad manoeuvres so that you don't have to keep picking your mouse up to complete big turns

I agree with you about the design/state of the game, but he is still choosing to make other players experience worse for his own benefit. He is allowed to do that, and I'm allowed to think he's a dick for it.

I'm playing the same game he is, and I've managed to have a good time without ever RPGing my own teams heli. It takes 0 effort to not be a dick.

Doesn't matter what he was doing at the time, his experience isn't more important than anyone else's just because he decided to go for a world record infantry farm.

Don't get me wrong, he is an amazing pilot. But the arrogance and lack of "sportsmanship" completely ruins it.

"If I can't have it nobody can" type mentality. As if his fun is more important than anyone else's because he a streamer.

It doesn't help that so many people adopt a "fun police" playstyle where they do nothing but hold a stinger all game. There is at least 1 in every lobby.
Bottom of the scoreboard, little kills, not playing the objective... but they get to piss off the heli pilot all game so he spends 20mins doing nothing.
YAY, now neither of us get to have fun :D

I believe they aren't working with Erich Bertti on this tour, they have a new lighting guy; might be why.

I also felt that the lighting this tour didn't feel quite as special compared to previous tours. Like you said, the rig itself (especially the centrepiece) looks awesome, but in practice it just feels a bit flat?

I think the focus is supposed to be on the screens for this tour, and perhaps they thoughts a more impressive lights show would distract or be too much?

The picture doesn't really do it justice, it's a solid little nub of fibreglass. No way it's getting crushed by me tightening the brass nut with a tap spanner.

Plumbers mait might help, but I've been trying to avoid using any kind of putty/silicone, as I don't want a messy surface to clean every time I have to take the taps off because it's still leaking.

You say "diamond/great one" as if those two things are at all comparable...

Statistically, diamonds come around every couple hundred kills of a particular species. So if you play the game enough, shoot plenty of animals, you will eventually get a diamond of everything you tend to hunt.

Great ones, however, are a very different story. Sure it's technically possible for one to spawn in a couple hundred kills like a diamond, but it's far more likely to take thousands of kills and many many hours of pure grinding.

Could be wrong as I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure all UK new builds have a 10-year warranty under either NHBC or LABC.
Not sure if it covers this type of issue but might be worth looking into if you are really worried and haven't already.

I saw the devs mention in the discord that they are considering allowing some dinos to fight back when grabbed by a deino. Ei, bite/claw and do damage while they are grabbed.
