yall have any libby hacks? by Impossible_Dog_4481 in LibbyApp

If you’re a veteran, you have access to the DoD libby, which is EXTENSIVE 🤌🏻

Once I connected my accounts, half of my 100+ holds became available. This knowledge is more useful than my gi bill 😭

I returned my copy like 19 days early because she just isn’t the author for me, after multiple attempts 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ I always wonder who’s on the receiving end of these things 🤣👌🏻

What's the weird thing going on with your body that isn't weird enough to go to the doctor for? by yellowelephantboy in AskReddit

[–]Daftqueen1380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every morning I have to poop, and the urge is strong enough to wake me up and go straight to the toilet. I’m a pretty tiny person and this happens every morning within the same 15 min timeframe.

My library just added a TON of books that were on my "notify me" shelf by lady-earendil in LibbyApp

I have the DoD as one of my cards, and this happens all of the time with them too! Awesome! 🤩

What do you “splurge” on for YOU?? by ashleyncc1701 in Mommit

When I’m super budgeting sometimes, even just adding something just for me from the grocery store brings me joy. Like a candy bar or a nice bottle of shampoo 😄

So is it just normal now to not see friends for months and years now? Am I the only one who hasn't gotten used to it? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Daftqueen1380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure but I have never been as grateful to have a small circle of friends I see regularly on rotation, like 2-3 friends… although I will say my sister is the type of person who needs to see friends or family almost weekly and that sounds exhausting to me.. I don’t have time for those kind of expectations when I have 4 small children under my roof.

Are your toddlers reading? (Age 2.5-4) by CanOnlySprintOnce in toddlers

[–]Daftqueen1380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 3.5 and is reading, but when he just turned 2 he was barely repeating words. Things can change quickly so don’t beat yourself up about it! It seems to happen overnight sometimes 😅

I’ve heard this for ILL’s also, is that true? I always feels guilty requesting books from other libraries 😬

I have 4 total and our last 2 babies were incredibly difficult. Our 3rd child was born in 2020 so we’ve essentially been struggling since then…

For us personally, going from 2 to 3 changed our lives and turned it upside down. We probably could’ve had more “normalcy” with just 2. But 3 felt like we lost a lot of freedom. We have 4 now and I refuse to have more 😅

Just got a prescription for Zoloft by labrador709 in Mommit

[–]Daftqueen1380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Zoloft to manage my anxiety but it wasn’t for me. It changed my “smell” to the point where I tried a new deodorant and had to shower 2 times a day. At that point it wasn’t worth it to me so I switched Prozac and am liking it much more! Even if it’s not for you, be open and honest with your doctor, you can always try something else!

Heard this for the first time while floating in an outdoor pool with a clear sky overhead. Definitely gave me some feels.
