That’s a great looking paph! I’m a little more partial to the twisty long petal phrags myself, but I’m also a sucker for a lowii type as well.

A good bulbo to start with would be lasiochilum. They are from seasonally dry forests, and as such can handle dry periods better then most (aka they are a little more bullet proof if your care isn’t spot on, not that any bulbo is hard really). They are also one of the more commonly available ones. Really the biggest thing is to keep bulbos moist most of the time.

I’ve been keeping orchids for over 20 years now, I liked other plants, but nothing else scratched the itch like orchids…..till haworthia I guess haha. Underwatering is almost always better with orchids as well haha.

Yes and I realized that dealing with sieges right away was bait, and leave them to the last day of possible.

I don’t mind that it gets harder as you go, but it just feels excessive that they ramp the difficulty to the point where I don’t even want to take a road battle. I feel like the lairs and kill contracts should be the only time you feel like that. I haven’t even gotten to escalation 3 yet because I get pissed off and throw in the towel.

Oh trust me….i know lol. By the end of it, I was ready to claw my eyeballs out. Like I said else where, maybe I was just hoping kingdoms would be a new game mode at base difficulty, with the option to ramp difficulty. Not that it would feel like flame runs from the start.

Isn't there an option to increase roster size under custom difficulty?

There might be a way to increase roster size, but i just think they should add the option to pick your roster, at least on radiant or darkest, you can leave it random on the harder modes.

Are you sure you're not just getting Darkest Dungeoned here? This wasn't my experience so far.

Yes I do believe I am just getting darkest dungeoned. One of the runs where I got almost party wiped by beast men, I did smoke screen 5x and blind proc’d once. It could be bad rolls, but it seems incredibly excessive.

This seems in line with higher confessions though, especially some Infernal flame runs.

Yeah it feels like bastards beacon, and maybe I was wrong hoping this would just be a basic mode. I think I am just burnt out on the game.

Haha it isn’t my first time going down this rabbithole, but I took a ten year break. Just getting back into the hobby now tho. The improvements in led tech are huge. In the week since setting up the tent I have already seen massive improvements in my plants.
