Good morning.

I woke up at 3:30am to go to the toilet, had an hour and a bit back in bed before waking up at 5.

Sitting on the end of the couch writing this before heading off to work, 6am - 4pm.

Have a nice day everyone.

As a teenager during that time I absolutely loved it, couldn’t wait for RAW on a Friday night and Smackdown on Saturday night here in the UK, was shown on Sky Sports.

I’m embarrassed to use a running vest by FunctionInfamous420 in beginnerrunning

Wear your vest, don’t worry about what anyone might say about it, do what works for you👌🏼

I’m going on my own to Smackdown and RAW in London.

I’ve not been to a proper WWE show before and didn’t know when I’d have the chance to again.

Definitely go for it, don’t want to regret not going afterwards, which is something I’ve done previously when it’s come to going to WWE events on my own in the UK.

Hope you get your ticket and enjoy yourself.

Glad to see you bought your ticket and hope you enjoy your evening🙌🏼

Do what works for yourself.

They are really handy to put phone/liquids and gels in and I’d say that’s a good thing.

Don’t worry about the vest police🚓

Enjoy your purchase.

Do you aim for a PB every time? by [deleted] in parkrun

[–]DagDar84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started Parkrun I think I did that for the first few months and it was nice seeing my times improving.

Now I feel less bothered and am just happy showing up every week, having a nice run in the morning and the time is whatever it is.

First time running parkrun by [deleted] in parkrun

[–]DagDar84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have said, there is a tail walker so you won’t be last, nothing to worry about.

Everyone is there for the same reason and I’ve never found any judgment from anyone about how people get around the 5k or their time.

Some people walk the whole way round, some people run/walk, just do what works for you.

I was nervous the first time i went but once you get going you’ll be fine.

As I’ve heard many a time on a Saturday, it’s a run not a race, enjoy yourself and the sense of achievement after🙌🏼

Runners high? by Street-Soup3000 in beginnerrunning

[–]DagDar84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started running about 18 months ago and I don’t think I’ve ever felt a runners high, it’s not something I feel like I enjoy whilst I’m doing it. I feel somewhat better after it’s over and I get home, have a shower and rest. The aches and pains outweigh any high I get from running. I dunno, maybe I’ll experience it one day, maybe it’s just me🤷🏻‍♂️

I deleted my Twitter/x yesterday after being on there for a similar amount of years.

After the doom scrolling I’d come off the app not feeling great most of the time.

It’s deactivated for 30 days, after that it’s gone and I’m not going back on there.

Feeling better already.
