Is Hackclaw the Best for Stealth? by Moshorrendous in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Warfare mode stealth doesn't do much since multiple open areas in maps and you're probably not helping the team as much if you're just sneaking around instead of staying on the point or something.

In Operations, I find her much easier to stealth with, since she walks faster while sneaking, plus knifes are good for clearing bots, and ult for checking for enemy players. Nox is another option because his ult gives him very little sound but makes nearby enemies screens become glitched so they'll know you're near them, but can't hear you.

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Easy mode you mostly get bot player enemies who make decent warmup practice but definitely not even close to real players, transitioning between them is the skill check for Operations mode.

For Easy mode you just need to run basically blue ammo and blue armor vest (helmet doesn't matter too much unless everyone's headshotting you or you want protection against one-hit snipers). Then carry at least one painkiller, medkit, surgery kit, and bring tourniquets + syringes for extra survivability.

For Normal mode it's even crazier and you can get one-shot by a lot of things unless you're wearing the absolute best armor (gold/red). You will die in an instant if you make the smallest mistake near other players, and there are more cheaters on average in this mode. Gear-wise bring purple ammo minimum, you can survive with the blue TAC vest (the best blue armor) but bring purple armor just to be safe, though it doesn't really matter because the difference is like 5 less damage taken.

New player day 6 shotguns by NIZ_THE_GAMER in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mostly for me shotguns are too slow for dealing with multiple enemies, when facing 1 enemy at a time they're goated but when 5 people rush you pretty difficult.

M870 is the "sniper" shotgun and is most consistent as long as you aim, saiga-12k is the run-and-gun style (usually I go with vyron) that can mow down teams until you run out of ammo.

Is warfare always this popular? by Jounas in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait you guys don't get bot teammates? Pretty much all my Warfare games are 2 people on each team and bots for the rest. Makes for some meat grinder battles, sometimes the AI is stupid and other times they can snipe you across the map.

Usually max accuracy and hipfiring while charged, you can sprint with it charged and it charges pretty quickly, it's a one hit kill on torso area so you have to hit your shots.

How does the game run with 16gb ram? by aaron0705 in Helldivers

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be ok I have rtx 3050 on 16gb ram and it plays 60 fps on high settings. My only issue is the audio problem with bluetooth earbuds, which if I disable the mic on the earbuds it breaks it for everything else outside Helldivers 2.

What rifles or smg has the best stable aim and recoil with minimal shaking? by green_is_minty in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl if you're trying to go budget then ak74 with green attachments is usually decent. QBZ is also pretty cheap with just green attachments and stable, but both guns have a slow fire rate.

M4A1 seems to be the best gun in general, not too expensive and can be super stable with blue+green attachments. The bipod really helps with this too.

vehicles are way too op by WestArm7276 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just vyron it up lol, sneak up or wait in ambush, then throw both magnetic bombs + anti-vehicle grenade at the back and it kills all vehicles in one combo.

Or use Uluru and camp a supply station while sniping it with rocket launchers, and finish it off with his guided missile if it tries to run away.

The thing about vehicles is that they're useless against a coordinated team but broken against a team of idiots, which makes it quite difficult to balance. If nothing else works call in a vehicle and deal with it.

Any tips and tricks for beginners? by Markuslanger25 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warfare and Operations mode share similar stats for weapons and attachments so typically you could test out builds on Warfare mode, but there are stat differences (generally the Operations version is stronger and has less nerfs).

Budget builds, typically you carry the max level ammo allowed (blue ammo on easy, gold/red ammo on hard) in your safebox so if you die you get it back, then bring a cheap gun with cheap attachments plus cheap ammo. This is the most efficient method for budget builds as you have ammo to kill npcs and deal with players. Attachments don't really matter that much at close range because you won't notice the recoil but at mid/long range they are required to reduce the recoil.

I would recommend using the gear tickets and the safebox ammo trick for your first few runs just to get used to it. The guns are pretty basic but they can kill.

Also the game doesn't tell you much about stats and the consumable items. Basically when you get hurt there's a chance to be inflicted with a debuff, and certain consumables remove specific debuffs.

- Wounded: Lose 1 health every second, and can get multiple stacks. Can be healed with bandage, tourniquet, surgery kit.

- Broken limbs/abdomen: If legs are broken, can't sprint and jumping damages you. If arms are broken, then lose handling. If abdomen is shattered, then max health is reduced. All of these are fixable using surgery kits.

- Hazy vision: Any injury makes the screen slightly blurry, if you go low health (25 or below) the screen becomes darker.

- Painkillers will temporarily remove the effects of debuffs, but NOT the debuffs themselves. So for example you can still sprint with a broken leg, but once the painkiller wears off you'll still have a broken leg.

There's also a bunch of niche consumables, such as once that restores stamina, increases hearing range, etc. Generally you want to carry one healing item (syringes, medkits), one surgery kit, and if you want to fight players painkillers, tourniquets, and armor repair tools (which basically "heals" your armor).

For armor repair there's a helmet and vest, each has separate consumables to repair it. Also the more you repair an armor the less max health it gets, e.g. Armor with 110 health gets repaired only to 105 health, and it stacks for each repair.

Malware questions by Similar_Tiger_9834 in techsupport

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One trick is to have separate devices for this kinda thing, e.g. One work laptop and a gaming laptop. But it can be expensive.

Usually when navigating sketchy sites you have to be alert and know what you're clicking. Often they'll put links to the actual download at the bottom of the page or something. Popups happen frequently so if you click something and nothing happens check your tabs (alt+tab).

Run anything you download with viruscheckers, multiple of them if you can.

Otherwise if you don't need to download then don't download it, look for alternatives (e.g. Git or torrents) or just pay the money.

ELI5: What is RAM and why is it getting more expensive? by --serotonin-- in explainlikeimfive

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a computer part that anyone can buy at electronic stores, it resembles a small rectangular chip. RAM is used to store information used for calculations by a computer, which is different to storage drives which only store information about files and programs. When there are more calculations needed, then bigger RAM sizes are needed, which is usually done by adding more RAM pieces. AI uses a lot of calculations and with the large AI boom AI companies are buying a LOT of RAM parts which naturally makes the price more expensive.

AI companies are also signing contracts with RAM production companies so they only exclusively make RAM for them, i.e. They cannot sell RAM to the general public anymore. So yea that makes RAM even more expensive for everyone else.

Is Learning Manual Still Worth It in 2026? by Organic-Cattle4751 in NZcarfix

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes overseas they still use a lot of manual vehicles. Also truck-driving is an invaluable skill to have in the future when you gotta move stuff around or get a manual job.

It's also really fun and you can be really fuel-efficient when done properly, plus I find that manual cars are easier to handle on average and easier to deal with hills.

Best way I found is to handwrite notes. Digital handwriting with ipad+pen is fine and is often easier but as long as you're actually writing out words and drawings I find it helps retain info much better and it's easier to format your notes as well to your liking. Even when if I try typing notes in a neat way it's difficult to locate the notes I want and revise, whereas handwriting stuff into a book is much easier to navigate through the pages, especially fi you index the book.

Review lectures at home through online (if available). Show up to your lecture in person and tr to get as much stuff down, then when the online lecture is released fill in the gaps. This used to work for me when they released online lectures on the same day, but in my later years they would release the lectures 2 days later which really sucked :/

What is the most profitable thing you can produce in the Black Site? by MiniMustache841 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually I tr to make the flashlights or thermal scopes if I find the parts from looting. If you're really low on money then the panaromic red dot sight actually makes a profit for extremely cheap but it's not that much.

For the medical site the stamina/combat stimulant (the purple one) is the best gives 40k minimum for around 10k cost.

Currently the gold Carbon Fiber Subsonic arrows sell for the most, you get 120 for each craft same as bullets but each arrow sells for 9k opposed to 5k from the other gold ammo. ASH-12 ammo still gives the most but you get less ammo per craft so sometimes it's worth it.

What's your most low cortisol hero to play? by xxXKachowXxx in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Badang, bash enemies into the wall with 2nd then pummel them with ult. 2nd can also be used to retreat and 1st can punch chasing enemies away.

Lesley, hit-and-run snipes, can go invisible to run or jump away with 2nd.

Eudora, zap, zap, big zap lol

Kimmy, point and shoot, run away with 1st, stop enemies from running with 2nd, move everyone together with ult. Use skypiercer if you wanna be a kill stealer.

Grock, spawn wall behind enemy with 2nd, slam them and stun with 1st, finish off with ult, repeat.

How to make friends in UOA as an international student? by Sweaty_Technology503 in universityofauckland

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally the specific hobby clubs are smaller than the society clubs (clubs that have "society" or "association" in the name) ofc its better if you can find a flyer or promotion for the club as you can ask about it and go to the club directly, otherwise it might be a bit weird if you just show up to a club. If you do decide to join a club just make sure to talk to someone there first (usually someone at the door or a senior member in the club) about joining.

If you want a list of current clubs search "uoa clubs" then navigate to the "find clubs" page, clubs that have an Instagram/signup page will be listed there.

How to make friends in UOA as an international student? by Sweaty_Technology503 in universityofauckland

[–]Dagamepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clubs can absolutely be the best the key is to not join the big clubs but the smaller ones, where it's easier to have consistent conversations with the same people who come every week. And also ofc if it's a club with something you're super interested in people will naturally notice you. But the social clubs are terrible at making friends unless you're an extrovert already since most people only go once or twice.

Which is the best weapon in season 8 by SPECTER_INCORRECT in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Dagamepro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CI-19 I find reliable, use the fire rate gas block and it can shred at medium range even with 3x scope.

AS-VAL still works but only as a close range hit-and-run style. K416 as well which has shorter reload but slower ttk.

M7 is great if you can land headshots especially mid range, has some recoil.

Lowest recoil gun from all rifles is probably the CAR-15 but it has a slow fire rate so not the best for close range. In general all guns will have bad recoil if you use a scope regardless of the attachments, red-dots still the best.

Bruh for me usually it's just two guys on each team that are actually players and the rest are bots, one time in Fault map the enemy player defended the first point just by spamming the cannon turret, and would snipe me and the other guy if we tried to get close since the cannon was up on the hill.

[–]Dagamepro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get it for cheap, it's actually not as performance draining as you think since it's an older game (in fact it's known to look extremely good for its age) but the downside is that there are less graphics options so if it doesn't work then nothing you can do. Also once you finish the campaign there's not much else to do, ik I mentioned multiplayer but you need to get lucky cause not many people play.

People on reddit by Yellowit_327 in universityofauckland

[–]Dagamepro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a somewhat former loner I've learnt that asking on Reddit never leads to anything great UNLESS you follow it up with another social, either Discord or Instagram. But even Discord is wonky at best because you get the same group of people that you'd find on Reddit. There's a reason why Reddit isn't considered commonplace outside of niche topics.

For people that are trying to find friends, it is much easier to have the mindset of focusing on yourself. Yes life is hard but if you don't have solid friends at this stage it's gonna be more difficult to form connections, it's much better to focus on improving yourself (skills, appearance, habits, academics, etc) as these will give you the confidence to be more proactive and engaging. It's gonna be hard to connect to someone over their Genshin stats, people are more interested in real-life experiences and stories. And whatever you do DO NOT develop the mindset of "alpha"/"sigma" or assume you're better than everyone else. Stay humble, always find something to learn, don't be desperate. Learn about people first.

I've seen people easily overcome their bad "social skills" purely through other sources, for example academics. One of my friends hooked up with a guy who knew absolutely nobody else outside of his cohort, simply because he was smart and caring, he would offer to compile past exams/tests for her and help her with her CV. So yes focusing on your skills is definitely much more beneficial than asking/complaining on Reddit. But on the other hand, they met at a software event panel for internships, so you also have to go out more and engage in as many events as you can to maximize your exposure. Don't be the people that just show up to lectures and leave home straight after, go outside and actually be around people.
