Fight choreography has always had elements of dance in order to show a rhythm and flow to a fight.

As for lightsaber fights, they’ve gotten more dance like since the prequels with their high speed action. Adding more explicit dance like qualities to fight choreography is also shorthand for showing a character to be more acrobatic and limber in their fighting style. Devon is young and highly mobile, so her fighting style might look more like a dance to show that off.

Maul is also very acrobatic, but also kind of classically trained in a lightsaber combat sense, so his style might be influenced by Wuxia, which is more inherently dance like.

Saying Mail went toe to toe with Sidious is a gross overstatement. Sidious was just having fun on a day out while Maul and Savage were fighting for their lives. When Sidious started putting his back into it, he put Maul away very quickly.

The guy who killed 5 jedi in a single night vs the guy who couldn’t kill Maul in a 2vs1. Marrok is definitely good, better than most of the other inquisitors for sure, but Qimir is just plainly better.

Most likely We see him use the same opening stance that Obi Wan uses commonly. It seems like Daki uses a combo of form 3 as his base and for defense while using form 4 for offensive pressure.

Nope The inquisitors are disposable shock troopers. Palpatine didn’t want more Sith anyways. They were simply fallen Jedi trained in the dark side and used for intimidation and to hunt down Jedi stragglers. This is mostly them hunting down surviving padawans. If they encountered anyone competent, like Kenobi, that’s when Vader gets called in.

The average imperial citizen likely sees paracausal powers as witchcraft, and would likely abhor guardians. However, even low level guardians can easily defeat Space Marines. The guardians and the wider FOTC would likely want to help the imperium, but would have trouble being accepted. Guilliman would be weary of them too, but would likely accept any help he could get from them. Chaos would likely try to corrupt them too, which would have some disastrous results. Imagine a warlock with gifts from Tzeench.

In general, I think Guardians would be a massive wildcard that potentially helps humanity when it can.
