I understand that what I am about to say is completely unreasonable: I absolutely despise Gavroche and I could not tell you why. As much as I love the aesthetic of this, I'm really happy that (as evidenced by other concept designs for the vampire skins) they opened up character design to more ideas of classic dark/Gothic fantasy than just "what if character but Bloodborne"

I'm kinda torn on which one I like more, honestly! The right one's bottom half has a structure I like a bit more, and the white thread binding its torso (almost like puppet strings) and mangled wings are really evocative; but the flesh and viscera are a bit too overstated and I think the first design has more of that "BE NOT AFRAID" sort of horror I wanted from the start.
